"K-K-Kurt." Finn stuttered and hurriedly stood up while the beanie was still in his right hand and the mask was in his left. The shorter boy walk over and sat down on the bed and patted the spot beside him, gesturing for the tall teen to sit down next to him. Finn sat down beside his step brother and they sat there in silence. "You totally spooked me, dude. What is this?" He lifted the beanie and mask before putting them into the box.
"I-I understand it if you're... confused. So, here's the thi-" he got cut off my the taller teen in the middle of the explanation.
"Tell me one good reason why I shouldn't tell Blaine." Kurt sighed.
"Finn, please don't tell him. He thinks he felt something when we kissed but he didn't." Finn stood up and started pacing to Kurt's annoyance.
"Tell me- why were you at the party? You said you didn't want to go. Just... just explain everything." Kurt let out another sigh and started explaining the whole situation to the boy, that -annoyingly enough- wouldn't stop pacing.
"I didn't want to go, but after listing the pros and cons, I decided to go. When I got there, I started looking for the other Glee Club members, but they were no where to be found. I couldn't even find you. When I looked you a bathroom, someone grabbed my wrist..."
"Blaine." Finn said and pretty much stated the obvious.
"Yes, Finn. Blaine. He spun me around and kissed me, but I chickened out and pulled away almost immediately. I had no idea that it was Blaine and I was sure it didn't mea a thing to him because he was drunk... oh God, Finn. Stop pacing for a moment, will you?" Frankenteen apologized and sat back down on the bed. "Now back to the story... I chickened out because I had no clue who stole my first kiss. It was also because I knew that it didn't mean anything at all. The person who kissed me was drunk and probably wouldn't remember the morning after, so I ran out of the house. I think I might've heard the guy yell something to me, but the music was too loud. When I came home, I decided to hide the costume and pretend that I had been reading in my room the whole night. Then this afternoon, I saw Blaine run out of the school and I started running after him. Then I noticed how everyone looked that everyone looked at some papers and I snatched Rachel's and read the article about Blaine. After reading it, I saw the picture. I immediately noticed that it was me and the guy who kissed me. The guy who, according to the article, was Blaine. I ran after him and he told me that he enjoyed the kiss. I kind of promised to help him find the guy from the party."
"But aren't that you?" Kurt nodded.
"I am. I'm trying to keep him far away from the truth. When he gets a step closer, I'll get him two steps back, you know?" Finn nodded.
"I just don't understand why you would want to keep it a secret. Don't you want him to know? Didn't you feel something when you kissed?"
"I-I did. He just didn't. He was too drunk to know what he felt, and if I told him that I felt a little spark, our friendship would be over. It's not a price I'm willing to pay, but of course I would love for him to know." Kurt leaned back, so he was lying in his bed while Finn still sat up. He turned a little to look at his shorter step brother.
"You like him, don't you?" Kurt nodded trice.
"Y-Yeah. Of course I like him, he's my friend." Finn shook his head.
"It's not what I meant. You like like him?" He asked. Kurt turned, so his back faced the tall boy.
"I think so."

"You said that you found something?" Blaine asked as he sat down by the dining table in Santana's house. It was already December and the party was five weeks early, but the two of them hadn't been able to find any clues. They thought they found some black fabric that could've fallen off the boy's shirt, but Kurt had said that when Finn came home, a piece of fabric was missing from his shirt. The girl beside him sat with her computer in front of her and typed in the password.
"Yep. I don't know why I had never seen that we have video surveillance around the house." The two of them let out a little laugh before a black and white picture of the hallway where the kiss had happened showed up on Santana's computer screen. "I got the video from Friday five weeks ago. If we speed it up a little..." she pressed on the speed button and made the video be four times as fast. "We'll be able to see what happened in a few minutes." He pulled out the chair and leaned over to hug the Latina. She placed her hand on his forehead and pushed him back into his seat. "We can hug when we find your dream prince." Blaine started laughing at her words.
"Thanks, Tana." He said and started staring at her computer screen. After nine minutes of silence, he spoke up. "Slow this part down." A guy dressed in black was walking down the hallway on the tape. Then Blaine saw himself stumble after him and grabbing his wrist.
"Damn, Hairgel, you were even more drunk than I imagined. He slapped her arm playfully before turning his attention back to the screen. Then he saw that the camera had filmed the kiss, and Blaine could almost feel it. He missed the feeling of the boy's lips on his. "Wait, Blaine, did you see that?"
"See what?"
"Pay attention to the corner to the right of your lover boy." She then slowed down the video and went back to the part right before the kiss. And when the kiss happened, Blaine saw what she wanted for him to see. In the corner she was talking about, there was a flash. A camera flash. That's how the kiss ended up in the school paper. "Oh God."
"What?" Santana paused the tape and pointed to the guy as he turned to the door to run away.
"He didn't wear a mask. Maybe I could try to ask my parents if it's possible to get a colore..." Blaine cut her off.
"I know exactly who it is. I can recognize those eyes everywhere." He sighed and looked at Santana before looking back at the computer. "It's Kurt."
