3 Years Later
Lily has been pregnant for over two months now. Unfortunately for my dearest Lily, James had taken some persuading in allowing me to be the child's father. James Potter had been adamant that someone he liked would be the father of his child, not me, Snivellous.
I was to have no contact with the child, according to James, the child was to be unaware of his real father. All of which suited me. I didn't want to see the child, I did not want the child to know that I was its father. All I wanted was to guarantee Lily's safety.
In order to do this, I had put my life, and reputation, in jeopardy. A Dark Lord had risen, Lord Voldemort. I wanted to make sure that Lily was safe as she was raising an order against him. I wanted to keep an eye on any plans he might have to kill her, and so, I joined his army. I hoped that I would be able to protect her that way.
