being a kpop idol whilst suffering from severe anxiety is a lot harder than it sounds, especially when you're only 17.

well that's exactly what jeon jungkook has to deal with everyday, a draining cycle of wake up, take pills, shower, eat,go to school, studio,shower, pills, sleep and repeat.

when jungkook moved in with bts, the managers told them to be extra careful with him. they taught them all about anxiety and panic attacks and how to deal with them, they also put jungkook into regular therapy - but his anxiety was still sometimes unmanageable.

with his anxiety being this severe, he needed someone to look after him at all times. a caregiver if you like. and being the oldest member, it was jin who took on this role from the very beginning.

jin was at jungkook's beck and call 24/7. whether it was during the night, at the studio, visiting family or even in the shower, jin was there in a flash.

the constant care and attention caused jungkook and jin to be very close, and made the younger pretty clingy towards him.

they slept in the same bed, because jungkook tented to have nightmares.

jin drove him to school, because the bus is too crowded.

jin makes all his meals, because jungkook is worried he'll get sick if he eats bad food.

the two are basically never ever apart -

except from school, that had to be done alone.

"i cant do this hyung, i'm gonna be so behind because i missed a whole week i-i'm gonna be sick hyungie i c-c-"

"you will be absolutely fine baby, you'll catch up, and you're only here for three hours. three hours is all - then you can come home and help me make lunch for everyone, sound good?"

it was 8:25am, five minutes before jungkook's school started, and jin was having his usual battle trying to get jungkook out the car, he really felt bad for kook - the poor boy had to suffer so much just for an education. and the school hardly gave him any support.

"you promise you'll come back? and you won't be late?"

"oh kookie, i always come back, and i've never been late once in my life! right?"

"y-yes hyung"

"now off you go, you don't want to be late!"

the smaller boy then picked up his bag and left the car, going into school through the back entrance (like he always does)

being practically a full time carer whilst still being an idol and a hyung to five other boys wasn't easy either, but jin wouldn't have it any other way, even on the days where everything goes wrong.

like today.

he got home after dropping junkgook off at around 8:50, then he got straight to work on cleaning the house, then driving joon and yoongi to college - but by the time he helped taehyung with a song and made food for hoseok and jimin, it was already nearing 10:30am.

jin decided to have a quick power nap, he was up practically the entire night with jungkook, who had had a panic attack and been sick and basically refused to sleep, and he had been run off his feet the entire morning - 40 minutes in bed couldn't hurt him right? just 40 minutes then he'd leave to pick up kook.

jin set his alarm, and feel asleep soon after.
