anniversary special!

so this is based around the events of 2018 but it's set now if that makes sense.

this is also ot7 centric! i know this is a jungkook book but their anniversary is about all seven of them.

small warning ... it might make you cry.

"all i am saying is, disbandment isn't off the table."

that's how their boss ended their meeting. the boys were at their wits end and none of them knew just how long they could go on like this for. would things get better? or would they just go further downhill?

it's the worst they've felt since before they debuted. there seems to be no way out.

all seven of them just moped and cried - loosing motivation and falling into an almighty slump.

the house was silent. they just kept to themselves and did nothing all day. you could occasionally hear a tv buzzing or a piano playing - but no chatter, laughter or happiness.

this isn't the end - right?

(the months before)

"hyung? when you did the online shop, did you remember my deodorant?" jimin asked, poking his head around jin's door.

"shit, jimin i'm really sorry i-" jin started, jimin cut him off. "ah it's alright hyung, i use the same as tae so i can just borrow his."

"thanks jimin - i'm sorry i just, i have a lot on my mind right now." he sighed. the younger invited himself in and lay on jin's bed. "really? what's up?"

jin closed his laptop and lay down with jimin. "remember that song i posted last month? i was just checking how it's doing and it's got eleven million views. then i checked the song taehyung posted at the same time and it's almost at a hundred million. don't get me wrong, you know how much i love tae and his song is brilliant! but why did his get to much more attention than mine? i-is mine that terrible?" his voice cracked.

"oh no hyung of course not! your song is amazing!" jimin tried to cheer him up, jin had tears slipping down his cheeks. he rolled over to face the wall. "then why won't people listen to it? i worked so hard jimin. why does nobody care?"

now jimin couldn't answer that. why did the song have so few listens? jin had every right to be upset - the song meant so much to him. "i'm sorry hyung, i'm really sorry." jimin whispered, he rubbed jin's back as the older cried - he eventually calmed down but the two stayed laying there until their peace was disturbed by the front door slamming open. they heard some voices and decided it was best they go see what was going on.

"jungkookie?"

the maknae has just returned from the company with a red face and puffy eyes. he looked like he had been crying, but he was hurt and angry at the same time.

"what's wrong?" taehyung asked, jungkook kicked off his shoes and walked into the living room. "they made me apologise and the staff yelled at me in front of everyone! i didn't do anything wrong, i got tested before i went out, i only went to one restaurant which i was allowed to go to and me and my friends were social distancing!" he growled. the youngest rarely ever got angry nowadays, it was was rare to see him in such a state.

"it's not fair hyungs, why does everyone seem to hate me? every time i make a tiny mistake people seem to make it out to be a huge one. i can't live my life like this!" he choked out, tears of frustration leaking down his face. he turned to hoseok and his hyung opened out his arms, allowing jungkook to fall into them.
