"damn it!" jungkook yelled, angrily slamming his laptop shut. why doesn't he have ANY ideas?!

"careful baby, hyung can't afford to buy you another laptop" he chuckled, slowly running his fingers through his younger boyfriend's soft hair. jungkook just sighed, leaning back into seokjin's chest.

"i have no ideas or inspiration hyung - i've not published anything in over a week! i literally can't think of anything.." he trailed off, letting tears of pure frustration slip out of his chestnut eyes.

"poor baby, how about we go for a walk? we could go to the river, sit by the bridge and maybe grab some food huh? do you think that would help you, love?" seokjin asked, he knew how much jungkook cared about his writing and his readers - and he also knew that writers block can be one of the most frustrating things to experience, being a singer and songwriter himself. jungkook nodded, standing up slowly and walking over to the mirror. he looked horrible. there were bags under his eyes, he was breaking out and his usually soft lips were bleeding from the writer's persistent biting.

"come on honey, let's get some fresh air - you've been inside this apartment for waaaaay too long" he giggled, taking jungkook's hand and leading him back into their bedroom to get changed.

"i love you hyung" jungkook said quietly.

"i love you too, gorgeous"

the couple walked hand in hand by the river, masks pulled up over their noses, leaving just their eyes to be seen by the others wandering around at that time.

jungkook sighed, they had been out for more than half an hour and he still had nothing. they sat down on a bench and jungkook stared down at his blank notebook. his head was full of thoughts but not the right ones - not ones he could turn into a beautiful short stories to make his readers cry, just useless worries.

"nothing coming to mind honey?" jin asked gently, pulling jungkook's body closer to his. the younger never replied, his large eyes slowly scanning the area in front of them - looking for someone or something that would spark an idea. "what do you see? say it out loud." jin encouraged, looking at his boyfriend's pale face.

"i see the river, some cherry blossoms, a kid on a bike, an old couple walking holding hands" he paused and then laughed "and somebody who just dropped an ice cream on the ground"

jin just chuckled and looked out across the large space of grass in front of them - he too observed the sunset and the people walking by he heard the kids laughing and the cars passing behind. just as they were about to leave, a fluffy, white dog ran in front of their feet and dropped a ball for them to throw.

jungkook smiled and threw the tennis ball into the distance, jin sat up and cleared his throat.

"that reminded me of something. that dog looked so much like jjangu right?" jin said, still watching the dog from a far.

"oh yeah! he's even got the tail" jungkook said with a smile. jjangu was jin's family dog, he died a few years ago but they still talk about him a lot.

"well there was this one time when we went to a beach in busan and i threw the ball into the ocean for jjangu to get - well none of us actually realised how deep it was until this woman came up behind us and told us the water was like...deep as fuck" jin stated, making jungkook snort.
