Raindrops falling fast
My eyes are facing the grass
I cant help but feel the water
I cant help but feel like with you I'm taller
The strumming of guitars
Makes me wonder where it is that you are
I hope you're outside like I am tonight
In this torrential rain
I imagine you to be that way
I imagine we will meet this way one day
Looking for shelter
Laughing at one another
Thinking that theres no other
Place we'd rather be
Faces we'd rather see
Talking like two strangers
That wish they could fall in love with each other
I hope one day I can hold you
Like I've always wanted to
And you wont slip through my grasp like rain
I want to hold you
Like the veins hold the blood
I want to hold you
Like the bones hold the muscle
I want to hold you
Cos I want told something real
I want hold the closest thing to perfect
That I've ever come across in my life
