Hundreds of plants were lined up and sat eagerly awaiting the arrival of the amazing Seb! This up and coming musical superstar was born and bred in his UK town Cheltenham and has loved performing music from early on in his childhood. As he walked up toward the stage plants lifted their leaves in a massive round of applause. He hadn't even begun his act and screams could be heard for miles away. He calmly walked toward the stage and sat down, as if oblivious to even having an audience. The only telltale sign was when he bowed his head into the microphone and introduced himself. Never, in my ten years of experience, have I heard such deafening screams from an audience. As he began to sing and play guitar, the audience speedily quieted down. A pin drop silence cannot even describe the atmosphere in that room! I swear I saw one plant almost fall off a chair, as if truly captured by his voice that gravity was a thing of the past. I can truly understand why, even I was astounded.
Having heard many artists in my time, I had never heard such ease and relaxation when seeing a live performance before. It was like he had truly left that chair he was camped on and had vaporized into a musical cloud that rained beautiful poetic lyrjcs and extraordinary, completely original music upon us all. His set list consisted of four singles he had released in quick succession, after months of pleading from his fans and long days and nights of perfecting already perfect songs. As he neared the end of his set, he thanked the audience and left the stage. As he walked back towards the backstage area he had come from, leaves rippled into another mass of applause and screaming for the star. When I spoke to him after the show, he seemed to be very well spoken and modest. By far one of the nicest and most talented musicians I've ever been lucky to meet. I hope to witness another show in the near future!
