I breathe you in
Ingest you into my lungs
Theres nothing to protect my insides
No such thing as a preventative disease
And you bloom like a rose inside of me
Disguising yourself as beautiful
Perfect to the quick and at the edge of the seam
But your thorns tear at me
And I have a set of lungs
But baby I cant seem to breathe
You are a flower in which I breathe
But you cant take my oxygen
Without your carbon dioxide killing me
