Later that day, Allura sat me and Pidge down on the kitchen table to discuss the mission plan. "Next week, we're are flying the lions to the tear of Valhalla so we can find the rest of the previous paladins and their families." She explained. "Who do you think caused this?" Pidge asked. "3 days before the tear, Zarkon went missing." She answered unsurprised. "I knew he couldn't redeem himself like he promised when I first arrived at Valhalla."

"Pidge do you still have the paladin suits?" Allura asked. Pidge turned pale as she stared at the table. "Uh- about that." She said nervously. "Pidge?" I asked. "Okay okay okay! During my investigation over the last 5 years, I took the suits and... disassembled it." She said, looking ashamed. "YOU WHAT!?" Allura yelled, disturbing everyone else in the apartment, who was doing their own thing. "THOSE SUITS BELONGED TO THE PREVIOUS PALADINS OF VOLTRON, THEY ARE ARE A PIECE OF OUR LEGACY!" She yelled. Although she was very serious, both Pidge and I didn't seem to care, as her short poofy hair was just so... poofy.

In the middle of Allura's babbling and yelling, Pidge interrupted. "Sorry Allura but there was this source of energy inside the suit, I had to investigate... But during the process of breaking it out, I may have burnt the suits." She explained. "HOW DOES THAT HELP?" Allura shouted. "The energy was close to... quintessence." Pidge continued. These words changed Allura's face from angry to concerned. "No worries, I destroyed the quintessence and made new suits, just in case we'd need it again." She smirked. "Why would you build new suits? Did you know we'd need it again?" I asked. "After I saw the quintessence, I started worrying that we'd need to form Voltron again." She clarified.

"So since the black lion is not at use, we are going to leave it back in Pidge's lab facility, where the other lions currently are." Allura planned.
"But why use the lions if we can't form Voltron?" I asked.
"'This is a top-secret mission. No human who isn't a paladin of Voltron can know."
"Except me!" Matt said from the back of the room, holding a tub of ice cream. "And Matt," Allura added.

The fact that my family wouldn't be able to know that I'm launching myself back to space without anyone's knowledge scared me. Back when I served Voltron, they taught I was dead!
I didn't want that to happen again, but if it means finding previous paladins of Voltron and Allura's father, then it would be worth it.

"What about Lotor?" Keith asked from the back. "Lotor has changed during his time in Valhalla," Allura replied, blushing. I guessed she probably got back together with him. She moved on. How couldn't I? It was then where I realized, I had to change, change back to the Lance I was, the Lance I truly was.
