Later that night, I couldn't sleep and it wasn't because of my conversation with Allura. My Altean marks hurt and my breath was cold. It was freezing cold. It wasn't just that. My legs were noodles and my head ached as I couldn't hear right. I could have asked Allura what was happening to me but she ran off to Pidge's lab. I was laying on the living room floor, while everyone else was with Allura. I tossed and turned, pulling the blanket closer towards me, as it was still cold. The room, slowly being frosted around me, was pale, despite being covered in colors in the morning. I knew this wasn't a dream, as the pain was too hard, as the frosted coldness in the air stabbed me like a knife.

I was awakened by Allura and the gang around 2 am when Pidge gently tapped my shoulder. I was in shock. The room was covered in ice, as the frosted ceiling looked like it was going to crumble. "What happened?' I asked, standing up. "Lance your hair." Allura pointed out my hair, fully silver and my Altean marks, more visible. "Did I do this?" I asked, covering my marks. "I'm not sure if this is Altean." A voice in the back said. Out of the darkness, Coran. "Coran!" I shouted out in excitement. He looked around at the icicles around the room. "What's going on? Is this what humans call "puberty"?" Ocean asked. "Oh goodness no! That happened years ago." I replied.

Coran never changed. He wore the same coat. The wrinkles on his face never changed either."This has never occurred for Alteans or paladins. "Woah Woah! You're saying that we might have powers?" Pidge asked turning back in confusion to look at Coran. "Lance originally flew the blue lion and blue lion did have ice abilities..." Allura pointed out. "But he also flew the red lion..." Keith mumbled. Matt gasped. "Todoroki senpai!?" I shook, as I didn't know Matt was there. "Matt?" I asked. His hair was short, and he wore a cheesy shirt labeled muscle despite being as skinny as he was when we first met. "What's wrong Lance? Missed me?" He asked, fluttering his lashes. "What about me? I piloted the red lion and the black lion." Keith asked. "What about Allura? She also piloted the blue lion. So does she share powers with Lance?" Hunk wondered, "Hey? What about Shiro?" Pidge asked, raising her voice. They started to argue in questions and confusion. I took a step back, as the loud noises messed with my head. The more they yelled, the colder it got. But no one noticed. I froze by myself... I was about to close my eyes when Keith yelled. "Okay enough!"

As he yelled, flames of fury scattered around the apartment room, melting the icicles, as the room flooded a little. "Keith!" I yelled as a ran towards him, afraid he was going to faint, as I did, but he didn't. He was fine, despite being burnt in some places of his arms and being in shock. "Great!" Pidge said. "You killed my dog." She continued. "You have a dog?" Hunk asked. "No. But if I did have one, he would be disintegrated." She answered. "Like spiderman?" Matt giggled. She reached out her fist to fist bump him, as they both smirked. "Guy focus!" Allura demanded. "Quiznacking impossible!"Coran whispered. "We do have powers..." Hunk said nervously as he stared at his sweaty palms. "But we've flown two lions! Do we have two powers or do we keep the power of the lion we originally flew?" I asked. "Judging by the look of it, it's the original lions." Pidge replied. "What about Allura. Does she share powers with Lance?" Matt asked. "I don't know. I'm try it right now." Allura declared, as she took her palm out and tried her best to create ice out of thin air. "No use!" She shouted impatiently. Allura didn't have any elemental powers linked with her lion. Pidge and Hunk looked uncomfortable. "Am I the only one scared? I think I'm the only one scared." Hunk mumbled, fidgeting with his hair. "It's okay. You guys don't need to force your powers." Coran suggested, patting Pidge and Hunk on the back. Pidge walked away into her lab, but I wasn't sure why. Keith, Matt, Allura, Coran and Hunk all fell asleep on the living room, but Pidge never came back. I went went towards her lab and gently opened the door, to find her asleep on the desk. There were papers and graphs everywhere, as she laid her head down on the table, with her arms folded to act as a pillow. I slowly and quietly walked towards her and noticed a dirty post-it with a drawing of... me. "Oh pidge..." I softly whispered. Gently, she replied in her sleep. "Call me Katie."
