What she said

The further we flew into space, the more concerned Allura got. "It has to be Zarkon or Lotor. I knew I shouldn't have trusted them. I knew they'd never change!" Allura growled. "I can't believe I trusted him. Can't believe I loved him..." She whispered, heartbroken. We've come so far. Why would she start doubting Lotor and Zarkon now?

It's been an hour since we found Neila. We followed Allura, passing by millions of galaxies. "Why couldn't we have used the castle for a wormhole or something?" Hunk whined. "We need the castle to stay wherever it is. If the castle moves, people will know something is wrong." Allura replied. Out of the bloom, we hear Keith's voice through the communicator. "This is Keith, any luck finding your family?" He asked. "No, not yet," Allura replied. "We found some strange plant. According to Pidge's calculations, it isn't from our dimension. She says it's from Valhalla." He explained. "We are on a life-threatening mission and your stopping to smell the flowers?!" I asked. "No, this is much more serious than I thought," Allura said, nervously.

"How does the plant look like?" Allura asked. Pidge answered. "It's some purple flower." Allura didn't reply. "Allura?" Hunk called out, concerned. "Pidge is right. These flowers are from Valhalla. But... this means Lotor and Zarkon are innocent." Allura stated, confused. "Zarkon and Lotor? I don't understand... W-what does this flower have to do with Zarkon and Lotor?!" Hunk asked, heart pumping like a train engine about to crash. Keith and Pidge, you're going to have to come here now! I'll send you the coordinates to the nearest planet. Hurry!" She demanded. "On it," Keith said. "Lance and Hunk, follow me." She commanded. We followed her to the nearest planet.

We quickly landed our lions and ran to Allura and Neila, who just exited the shuttle. "What's going on?" I asked, out of breath. "Does flowers are from Valhalla. Valhalla is the largest source of quintessence and aura but these flowers are the one organisms that don't hold these powers, making it a very sacred flower in Valhalla. Zarkon and Lotor know this. They would find no use in them but they carry it around with them. If any of this, I believe they are in danger!" Allura explained in fear. Everything was going by so fast and I was so confused. I didn't understand what was going on.

Allura, Neila, Hunk and I waited on this planet. Like the other two planets we visited, it was deserted, empty, dry and dead. I didn't really think about it, but nearly every planet near was the same. It was dreadful. Hunk was concerned about me. "Lance, are you okay? You seem pale." He said. "Yeah, I'm fine." I lied. "Your hair is turning silver again." He pointed out, worried. "I guess that's it. It doesn't hurt. Nothing hurts." I lied again. My Altean marks were in pain, but I didn't want to worry Hunk. Nonetheless, Allura was acting as if it was the end of the world. She paced around the area we landed in, panicking. I didn't talk to her, I knew it would only upset her even more. Neila was in the shuttle, doing goodness knows what. Less than 30 minutes later, the red and green lion landed, as quickly as possible. "That was faster than I expected!" Hunk said in relief. Keith and Pidge walked off their lions. "That was quick," I said, walking up to Keith. "It's weird. We followed the black lion's tracker but the closer we got to it, the more dead planets we found. You happened to be in one of them so it didn't take that long." He said, obviously confused but oblivious.

Neila's voice was heard from the shuttle. "Are those the other paladins?" She asked. She stepped out of the shuttle. Keith turned to her and turned white. His breath was a ghost town. Confusion in his eyes and fear in his glance beamed. I taught Keith looked like he had just seen a ghost, but I didn't know... he had.
