As the boat mored on the doc Persephone faces the obsidian and black opal gates, that were roughly 20 feet high. Before even touching it though, the gates swong open of their own accord, presenting the tall figure of her husband.

Hades stood tall up the path to the palace, his skin pale as the moon, which was in contrast to his black robe that was draped around him, held in place by black garnets on the shoulder. His scruffy neck showed the signs of abandon as his smile was hidden behind the whiskers. His chiseled chin though was still viewable through the hair. His face had lit up upon seeing Persephone , reaching to his eyes most of all, as he struggled to not run to his wife. His eyes being mostly dark gray and purple did not often have light in them.

Persephone on the other hand did not  have as much controls as she picked up her flimsy skirt and ran to him, taking a giant leap half way there, as she landed in his arms. His strong muscular arms that would always catch her.
Hades lifted her up slightly kissing her deeply as she held on to him.
Persephone came up for air first but was pulled back down again by another kiss. Hades tongue not just parting her teeth, but also claiming her mouth as his, as he bit her lip slightly in the drawing back of their heads.
Persephone felt her thighs grow warm for a moment, before she was placed back down on her feet.

Catching her breath a little Persephone beamed up at hade, "I missed you too husband"

Hades smiled at that as he began leading them towards the palace, "I have been waiting for that kiss for 3 months now, I only have so much control.
Persephone laughed at that but also blushed a little because Hades was talking about their rendezvous at the mid summer party on Olympus, where hades had stolen away Persephone for the evening because Demeter had been preoccupied. Even months later the memory of the back closet in the anti chamber made Persephone's toes curl.

Hades led Persephone further into the palace, and up to their room, as he looked at her white dress, meant to symbolize purity and innocence, which is what Demeter wanted her to be.
"I can't wait to get you out of that ridiculous dress though, white was never your color, and everyone knows you are not a maiden"

Frowning Persephone slowing down a little, "I know hades but I don't exactly have stores of expensive clothes and jewelry. Besides such finery is hard to dig in."

Scoffing a little Hades just rolled his eyes, as the door to their bedroom sweet opened up, revealing their rooms.
