It had been almost a year since the party on Olympus, and Demeter had grown more strict with Persephone, watching her at all times and restricting her alone time.

Persephone, had barely been out of His grasp, leaning against a column to catch her breath when Demeter had come storming back into the great hall, her voice booming over the din "KORA WE ARE LEAVING NOWWWW"

That was the other change, the name that Hades had heard from the child's lips was not more , for her mother had started using another name only acknowledging the use of Kora in discussion. Hades though only knew of this, staying clear away from Demeter so as to keep his Persephone's secret.

He had evaporated to Zeus's private chambers after dancing with Persephone, and had agreed upon the arrangement, claiming her hand in marriage to him. There agreement had been sealed with an oath on the River styx and a clap of thunder to let all know that Persephone was Hades's.

Hades had watched Persephone play in her fields from a distance, admiring how even in the dirt and grime of a hot day she was beautiful. And when he was stuck in the underworld he would watch her through a crying bowl the reflective waters enchanted by Hecate.

"There it goes again, it's fading out, I can see the bottom of the bowl" Hades slumped in his chair, as he looked up at Hecate.

"Hmm yes I see, I thought this might happen, I was just uncertain about how long it would take." Hecate waves her hand over the bowl as the image of the young Goddess became clear again.

"Afraid that What would happen? Is she in danger?"

"Persephone is not in danger her memories are, she is forgetting you Hades, the spell on the bowl is a window into her life, but one that she wants you to have as long as she knows of you. And her mother is trying everything to make her forget that party on Olympus." Hecate looked at her king as he frowned his anger showing a little.

"Then how do I get her to remember me?" He growled.

Hecate looked at Hades with one eyebrow raised, "you talk to her Hades". And with that Hecate vanished back to her corner of the underworld.

I know this is a short one but I liked leaving you guys with a little sass. Also yes this is a flashback, I'm probably only going to have two more at the most, depending on how my word count goes.
