Sorry for making you guys wait a little for this chapter. I have finals coming up and so my schedule is sporadic, I might stop posting all together for like a week but it's just because I'm finishing the semester. Hope you enjoy.

Persephone arrived at the "Gates of Hades" early, dressed in a dark emerald green dress, that was elegant and yet not showy, as she didn't want a lecture from Demeter about how Hades dressed her like a tramp.

She only had Cerberus to keep her company as she waited and watched the line of souls that entered every few minuets from the boat. Charon had offered to ferry her across the Styx to meet her mother there, but Persephone declined as she didn't know if Demeter would use a portal or not, or if she would even show up. Hermes had never returned with a response, leaving her in the dark about weather the meeting was still happening.

Any sign of her? Hades voice murmured in the back of her head.

No, but I'm early, and stop snooping, I'll let you know if she comes and what we talk about, I don't like when you use the bond to spy on me, don't make me put up a mental ward.

You sound stressed -Hades

A little, I'm sorry I snapped at you

Persephone sighed as she absentmindedly started petting one of Cerberus' heads as the faithful hound was leaning into her.  The three headed dog was massive when at his full form, his heads reaching over even the gates hight so that he could see across the Styx. Cerberus though was half his usual size to accommodate for Persphone, as Persephone was in her more godly state the control on her magic loosened a little so that she was larger in size along with more power radiating off her stature, the folds of her dress seeping black mist, like Hades did constantly, his though were always trying to escape, as his power was harder to tone down. When in the uplands she released her powers they often created large expanses of foliage changing the geography of entire country sides, to the point that Demeter had stopped her from changing all together, telling her that "nature was not something that came bursting up from the ground but rather was gentle and kind showing the beauty after long days of growth".

Cerberus's other head now butted her hand lightly as it whines from lack of attention. Smiling down at the 1000 year old dog that still thought it was a puppy she rubbed the second head, as well as the third. She looked back across the Styx as she felt it. Something was off, was it Demeter? The air smelled differently, like dirt and sun, and she sensed someone had entered the underworld that was undead.

She's here on the Styx I can feet it can you? Hades voice came quickly as Persephone had stopped petting Cerberus to straiten her dress.

Yes, I can, is this what it feels like whenever I come back? This sense of something being off?

No darling, when you come back it feels like my other half has become whole again. Although you do always smell of dirt. There was a low chuckle in the back of Persephone's head as she now saw Charon on his boat with a hooded figure.

Demeter hated the Underworld the very mention of it always made her hair rise. She had been furious with Hermes when he had brought back the reply that Persephone had to stay there. She had talked herself in and out of going, wanting to speak with her daughter about this decision, while also not wanting to go anywhere near the horrid place. When she had finally mustered up the resolve to go, her portal was blocked with a little message from Hades, "you come my way or you don't come at all" with an arrow pointing down drawn by magic.

Her insufferable brother had changed the rules of entry to his kingdoms forcing even Non-mortals to go the physical way, only allowing teleportation as far as the outskirts of
caves that ran deep down to his dominion.

She had teleported herself there and then walked the long windy way down to the river of souls, cursing Hades name the whole way down, although Hades did not tell Persephone of her mother's language

When she finally had reached the river the souls had come to her hanging about her skirts asking for the life she gave to plants, to grant them lives as well. She had waited through the white figures until finally tracking down Charon and requesting a ride on the old gondola.

He had in turn asked for an Obol or a quarter annoyed at his persistence to be paid she had fished out the coin from her himation, glad that she had a little spare cash.

The boat ride was long and dark, with Charons movements the only sound to be heard aside from a few cries of souls in the distance.

When she caught site of the shore on the other side she saw a very large dog, if you could call it that. standing next to a pail dark red head. The "Gates of Hades" looming up behind them as they both stood waiting. Pulling back her hood a little Demeter grimaced, she felt a strong force of power and magic coming off the red headed lady, well two could play at that game. Mustering up her strength Demeter made ready to change form when she herd Charon clearing his throat.

"Ehhm, Lady Demeter might I remind you that you are in My King and Queens dominion not your own, you can not transform without there permission, the sand along these banks don't allow magic of the uplands."

Demeter cursed Hades name again as she nodded, "very well then I shall meet with your queen in this form."

Persephone saw her mother draw back her hood and say something to Charon before they fully docked on the black sandy beach, the sand quickly turning into precious stones. Each stone was cursed so that if they were ever plucked by a living person death would follow shortly.

Demeter walked up to Persephone, having to look up at her daughter she nodded a greeting. "Do you disrespect your mother so much that you stay in a higher form?"

"Hello to you too mother"
