(Kath's PoV)

"Here it is Cous, My husband's masterpiece!"

Buong laki kong ipinagmalaki kay Michelle ang mga obra ni Daniel. She was so delighted seeing her Tito in a portrait. Nanlaki ang mata sa nakikita, she could not believe it.

"Daniel is really the man!" malakas nitong sabi. Natawa ako sa ekspresyon ng mukha nito, her eyes widened as she examine thoroughly the portrait."Hindi naman sya pintor 'di ba? I never knew that he's capable of doing this."

"Kahit ako hindi makapaniwalang magagawa nya ang ganyan" I added.

"Lolo should see this, he would love to have this in our ancestral house. What do you think Cous?" nagulat ako sa tanong nya. I never thought about Lolo, baka nga magustuhan nya ito as much as I did. I give Mich a nod and we went out from the room.

"Send that to Lolo as a gift for his 78th birthday! He would be happy" she said excitedly. Binigyan ko lang sya ng ngiti. Syempre I will ask first DJ about it. The portrait was made for me, baka naman gawan nalang nya ng bago si Lolo.

"Te-ka! hindi pa kita natatanong, why are you here? May trabaho ka hindi ba?" nakapamewang pa ako ng sinabi iyon. Nakarating kami sa kitchen at agad naman sumalakay si Michelle upang matingnan ang loob ng refrigerator. She seems like ignoring my questions.

"Wow ha! Hindi halata na magaling kayo magluto pareho ni Daniel sa dami ng mga pagkaing nandito!" she said as she explored the ref. Pumipili-pili pa sya na animoy isang customer sa isang department store. Halatang halata ko na ang babaeng ito, she was diverting my questions.

"Sige na mamili ka na kung anong gusto mong merienda at ng masagot mo ako?" I told her frankly. I saw her grinned. She grab the pyrex with mango float, tapos kumuha ng isang bote ng juice drink, I just wondered bakit juice? Eh mas mahilig ito sa softdrinks.

"Kath, ikaw ba gumawa nito! Pwede ba gawan mo ako nito araw-araw simula ngayon" then she ate a slice of it. May kakaiba talaga sa babaeng ito. "Don't look at me like that, para namang nagnanakaw ako" she giggled. "Ang sara----" I cut her off.

"Ikaw ba magsasabi kung bakit ka naririto?" I asked in soft tone voice with matching smile. Nilantakan nya ulit ang pagkain before saying anything.

"Daniel told me to visit you. To check you out kung okay ka lang dito?" her reply made me wonder, bakit naman gagawin ni Daniel yun? Is he has no sense of trust in me? Nandito lang naman ako sa bahay. I won't break my leg or arm for doing household chores.

"Hoy! don't be nega! Alam ko ang nasa isip mo" nababasa nya rin pala ako. I'm too obvious na talaga. "My dear cousin, mahal na mahal ka ng asawa mo kaya ganyan sya. at tsaka you would be happy hearing my great news!"

"What's news?" now my interest has been diverted. Anong news kaya ang sasabihin nito. She grab again a mango float. Mukhang napapansin kong magana yata ngayon si Cous. The last time she could not stop her sweet craving ay yung pagbubuntis nya kay Arthur.

"I'm pregnant! 2 months!" pagmamalaki nya. My eyes widened, I was so happy for my cousin. I gave her a hug, this made me think na gusto ko rin magka baby. Not because naiinggit ako sa pinsan ko, it just I wanted to build a family, Yung kompleto.
