Chapter One - The Special Day

-Third Person's PoV-

"Changes in my life made me whole, it made my world sway to its highest potential. It taught me how to sacrifice, to forgive, to love truly." Kathryn thought, as she hold her breath due to excitement.

"This is the day! The Lord permits us to be one. Best sana gisingin mo ako kung nanaginip lang ako" she uttered.

"You're not dreaming and We're here Best. Excited na talaga ako!" bulalas ni Janella sa kaibigan, tila mas excited pa sa bride. When the car stops at the entrance of the church, Janella lowered the car's window. This made them hear the people's voices from outside.

Lahat naman 'ata masaya sa araw na 'yon lalong-lalo na ang mga kapamilya nila. Kath, couldn't control her emotions as she watched the crowd waiting for her to step out from the white bridal car. Hindi yata nakatulong ang pagbukas ni Janella ng bintana.

She could see the whole Benedicto clan and their friends on the right corner. She could see Uncle Manuel, her soon-to-be father in law" so happy talking to her grandpa.

While the ladies are compiling on the other corner, her Mom, grandma, Aunt Helen, Daniel's mom, Mich, Julia, Lucy, Erich and Christine, the wife of Jac. They are all looked wonderful with their gowns. Thanks to their coordinator that made things too well.

But she could not see her groom. Hindi mahagip ng kanyang paningin. "Saan kaya s'ya?" she asked herself.

Then her Kuya Robi opened the car's door, and smiled as he saw her.

"It's your day lil"sis." He said as he gave her a warm hug. "Sigurado ka na ba? Sabihin mo lang kung umuurong ka. You know, naman kung gaano kita ini'spoil. Kahit sumama kana lang sa amin ni 'te Erich mo for life, okay lang." bulong ni Robi sa kanya.

He's still embraces her na para bang ayaw n'yang bumitaw dito. Nararamdaman ni Kathryn na parang kabado ang kapatid. He's acting like a mother today! Sigaw ng kanyang utak. Kathryn find him as over protective kuya in the world.

"Kuya, naman. Ngayon kapa ba mag-aastang ganyan. Not on my wedding day! Talo mo pa si mama" she murmurs.

Robi loosen his hug to her sister and whispered again this words that almost made Kathryn cry.

"Always remember na nandirito lang si Kuya, I love you so much. You will always be my little sis, and my princess. Huwag kang magdadalawang isip na lumapit sa akin, kung may problema. Kilala kita, napaka'weak mong bata" he sincerely said to her sister.

"Kuya I'm a grown woman. I understand your sentiments, huwag kang mag-alala sa akin. Kilala mo naman si Daniel" at talagang naluluha na sya.

"but honestly I'm so thankful na naging Kuya kita. I love you too." she hug him. She could say na sobra-sobra ang pagmamahal ng Kuya n'ya sa kanya. Napakaswerte nya na naging kapatid ang isang tulad ni Robi.

Bumitiw na si Robi sa pagkakayakap sa kapatid ng magsalita si Janella, mula sa kanilang harapan.

"Naku, Best, nakakatouch sana ganyan din ang kuya ko. Anyway, umayos ka na, kanina pa naghihintay ang groom! Tiyak nasasabik na syang makita ang bride nya." may galak ba sabi nito.

She ready herself as Robi helped her to step down from the car. Sinalubong naman sya ng mama nya.

"Kathryn, you're such a lovely bride" pagmamalaki ng mama nya. "I love you so much anak. Best wishes for you and Daniel."

"Thank you Ma, I love you too" she said to her mom and give her a hug. "Masaya ako, dahil kasama kita sa araw na ito" she whispered. Lalong napahigpit ang yakap ng mom nya.
