|Chapter 19|

The entire ride to Pizza Hut was silent. After the unexpected kiss- makeout between Shawn I none of us had spoken. We'd gotten ready quietly and the entire car was quiet. Normally we'd have songs playing and we'd be dancing like mad men. But not tonight.

As soon as the car to a shop infront Pizza Hut, immediately got out of the car, breathing in the air with relief. The tension between Shawn and I was so thick you could cut it with a knife.

We walked towards the table where Emma, Alena and Aaliyah were already waiting for us. The three had smirks on their faces but when they saw the distance between Shawn and I they dropped.

I sat next to Alena and Emma while Shawn sat across from us next to Aaliyah.

We ordered ourselves two medium pizzas with different toppings and then Aaliyah and Shawn started to converse. Emma poked me in the ribs and I turned around to look at her.

"What's wrong? You two were being all cuddly just a couple hours ago." Emma whispered.

I couldn't explain everything hair so I excused myself to the bathroom. Alena and Emma followed me inside.

"We kissed." I spoke. "Well- we made out.." I explained.

"What's so bad about that?" Alena asked me.

"I don't like him like that. And the worst thing is that I was the one who asked him to kiss me. I don't even know what came over me." I ranted our, running my hand through my hair, stressed.

"Okay. Stop freaking out about it. I'm sure you two will be back to normal soon. But just maybe try not to lead him on. I know he likes you. A lot. Everyone can see that. So if you keep jumping on him like this you'll lead him on and in the end you'll break his heart. So stop." Emma explained. I nodded and all three of us hugged.

I left the bathroom first and then came Alena and then Emma. Our pizzas were already on the table. When I met Shawn's eyes, they were teary and red. My heart constricted painfully. I was playing with his feelings.

The ride back home was silent. The entire house was silent. Shawn was upstairs and I was downstairs mindlessly scrolling through channels.

"Can we talk?" I heard his voice speak. I turned around to see him standing there, all shy.

"Yeah." I answered softly, closing the tv, and standing up.

"Let's talk."

Okay wow the next chapter is going to be a little intense. This is the 19TH chapter so I think I might end this book on the 30th chapter. So wow 11 chapters left of this book :(

Or maybe even less, I'm not even sure.
