You were the one who chose where to eat. You had found a decent looking deli which Husk was salty about seeing there was no booze.

Husk ordered first without even considering the fact that you were there. He got a salami sandwich on white bread with an excessive amount of mozzarella cheese.

You got a turkey sandwich with Swiss on rye. You also got a cookie which Husk asked for you to share with him.

Alastor just asked for straight up lettuce. You decided not to question it.

Alastor led you and Husk out of the deli and to a garden near the woods.

"You two stay here," he said, sitting you and the cat down on a bench near the exit. "I'll be back soon."

Alastor marched into the woods with his hands full of lettuce.

Husk grumbled something about Alastor that sounded quite vulgar and hateful. You broke your cookie in half and gave some to him.

"Here you go," you smiled at Husk as he took the cookie.

"Thanks," he set the cookie on his lap and then ate his sandwich in one bite. After he swallowed it, he did the same with the cookie.

You stared at him with wide eyes seeing he just downed an entire meal in seven seconds. You hadn't even taken a bite.

Husk stared back at you.

"What?"

You stuttered for a second, trying to find words.

"You just ate a fucking twelve inch long sandwich in six seconds!" You scolded him. He laughed and stood up.

"Well I'm going to go find some booze. I'll be back soon," he began to walk out of the garden but Alastor stopped him by appearing out of nowhere.

"And where do you think you're going, Husker?" Alastor poked the cat's chest.

"To a bar?" Husk looked annoyed by Alastor popping up.

Alastor scooped him off his feet and set him back on the bench next to you.

"You're not going anywhere until (y/n) is done eating. That way, she can follow you and not get raped, kidnapped, tortured, or beaten up," his eyes began to turn into radio dials and his antlers lengthened. "Got it?"

Husk pissy look went to one of mild fear. You were surprised by Alastor's sudden outburst and inched away from him a bit.

"Yes, Alastor," Husk said. In his voice, you could hear the terror. It was quivering and soft.

Alastor went completely back to normal like nothing had ever happened.

"Wonderful! I shall return soon, my dear," he waved at you. "And don't leave her side, Husk. I'm warning you..." He left and went back to the woods.

You ate your food quickly so Husk didn't have to wait too long.

"Alright, let's go," Husk walked next to you down the street, one of his wings hovering protectively over your back.

"Where exactly are we going?" You asked him, your eyes focused on the ground in front of you.

"My favorite bar in hell," he paused and looked you in the eyes, "fairytale lounge."

You chuckled at the name.

"What kind of name is that?" You asked.

"It's a lot better than it sounds, doll," he said.

He stopped about a block later and pointed to it.

"There it is," he said.

The building had at least three levels, each one glowing a different color. The highest level was busier than the first. Husk led you over and found two seats at the counter. One was up against the wall. He made you sit there so another man couldn't approach and harass you.

A tall demon with gray-blue skin and black hair with a thick tail and two ram horns walked up to you and Husk.

"What's up, Husk?" He asked.

"I'm babysitting the radio demon's pal over here," husk thrust a thumb in your direction.

"I'm 30, not a baby," you playfully nudged Husk with you elbow and he smiled.

"Hey there, I'm Alex," the blue demon reached out his hand for you to shake.

"(Y/n), nice to meet you, Alex," you shook his hand. It was cold but he had a firm grip.

"So what can I get ya?" Alex asked.

"The usual," Husk said.

"I'd just like water," you said. Alex nodded and went to get your drinks.

He came back with a glass of water and a drink for Husk. He set them down in front of you.

"Just call me if ya need something!" And with that, Alex went to the other side of the bar.

"What'd you get to drink?" You asked Husk.

"Liquor," he took a big gulp and set the cup back on the counter. His facial features relaxed.

"Husk, who's the lady?" A deep masculine voice came from behind you.

"No one you need to worry about," Husk mumbled into his glass before taking another sip.

The demon sat down next to Husk. He looked exactly like a microraptor. He was covered head to toe in orange and black feathers with a yellow stomach and had an orange beak.

"She's a pretty one. Your girlfriend?" The demon teased.

Husk went stiff.

"I don't do relationships, Trevor," his wings were flaring and his tail swished viciously. His voice was laced with venom.

"Things can change, pussycat," Trevor smirked.

"Hey, babe, what's your name?" He looked you up and down.

"Fuck off, jackass," you sipped your water.

"Oh, you're a feisty one, I like that!" He laughed. You were about to lunge at him and leave him without a throat, but Husk beat you to it.

He punched Trevor in the middle of his face. The raptor held his beak and looked up at Husk.

"Motherfucker," he mumbled. Trevor pounced at Husk and pinned him to the ground, beating him up. Husk protected his face with one hand and clawed at the raptor with the other.

"BAR FIGHT!" a random demon yelled

Pretty soon, every single demon in the bar was duking it out with someone else. You leapt behind the counter and cowered in fear. Alex took cover next to you.

It went on like this for about ten minutes when suddenly, there was a static noise screeching from the doorway. Everyone stopped fighting.

"Where is Husk?" It was Alastor. His voice sounded even more staticy than usual. You heard shuffling as every demon pointed towards the cat. Alastor stomped over to him and picked him up by the scruff of his neck.

"Where is (y/n)," he hissed.

You stood up from behind the counter and leaped over to join him.

"I'm right here, I'm fine," you said. Alastor kept a firm grip on the poor figure of Husk.

"We're leaving," he demanded. You saw he wasn't moving his mouth to speak and his antlers were huge. His eyes were dark and his pupils looked like radio dials again.

You nodded and followed Alastor who was dragging Husk towards the door of the bar.

"You have a lot of explaining to do, Husk," Alastor growled before the door slammed and you started walking home.
