Alastor walked out into the lobby and sat next to you. You were sitting next to Blue and laughing over who knows what.
"(Y/n), this evening, if you want, we can go to my house," Alastor whispered in your ear while placing one of his hands on yours.
"Sure!" You nodded and stood up. "Blue and I were about to go to one of the cafes that stays open on Christmas to get bagels and tea. Wanna come?"
Blue stood up and so did Alastor.
"I would love to," he answered. You a walked out of the hotel and to a coffee shop.
--------------
Alastor ordered a black coffee and watched you and Blue make your way to a table. Alastor noticed that Blue was wearing the hoodie you have them and became a little annoyed.
He set his money on the counter and walked off to join you.
"Hey, Al, what'd you get?" You arranged yourself in such a way that you were sitting right up against him. Not only was it warm, but it made both of you happy.
"Coffee," he slipped his hand into yours and you smiled at him. Blue smirked across the table and winked at you. Alastor clearly didn't like that since his grip grew tighter.
"So, how has your Christmas been so far, Blue?" You asked the fox sitting across from you. They shrugged.
"It was okay when I woke up, but it got even better when you told me I could come over and that we could get some coffee," Blue fiddled with the drawstrings of their hoodie like they always did.
"That's good. What about you Al?" You looked up at him.
"It's fine," he mumbled. And he never mumbled.
"What's wrong?" You whispered into his ear. He just sighed. And with almost perfect timing, your order arrived along with his and Blue's.
Alastor avoided your question by sipping his coffee. You and Blue ate your bagels and drank your tea. Everything was quiet until it was time to go.
Alastor stood up first and waited for you. You stood up soon followed by Blue. All three of you walked out the door. Alastor had a happy face, but was clearly sad, and you and Blue were laughing with eachother all the way back to the hotel.
--------------
Alastor didn't cheer up the entire day. You and Blue continued talking and laughing until you had had enough of Alastor's mopey attitude.
"Alastor, tell me what is wrong?" You pressed you side against his and wrapped your arms around his neck.
"Nothing, dear. I'm fine," he said. You stood up.
"Is it because of Blue?" You asked him slyly.
He stiffly nodded.
"Do you need affirmation that they don't love me?"
He nodded again.
You exchanged a glance with Blue and rolled your eyes with a giggle.
"Al, I don't love anyone except you. I have no interest in dating Blue not anyone else in hell. You're the only demon that I love and want to be with, day and night," you wrapped your arms around his shoulders and looked into his eyes. "Like I said earlier; I love you."
You then locked lips with him. He became tense for a moment. He wasn't used to this kind of contact. Or any contact, for that matter. He tilted his head to deepen the kiss. Neither you or Alastor cared about Blue on the other end of the sofa, looking at their lap with a proud smile on their face.
Alastor pulled away first, dragged your head along with him until you pulled away a second later.
"Don't let anyone tell you any different," you gave him one more quick peck before unwrapping your arms from around his neck.
"Hey, um..." Blue looked back up, "Lunch is in 15 minutes and I probably have to go."
"Aww, where do you need to go?" You tilted your head towards Blue and leaned against Alastor who still had his slender arms around your waist.
"Home. I'm making lunch for me and my sister," they stood up. "I'll see you soon?"
"Yeah, see ya soon, Blue," you waved as they walked out the door and back to their house.
Alastor knew this would be the perfect time to take you to his house and give you his gift, but the rest of the hotel staff were going to eat lunch and would expect to have you and him there. He looked at the wall and spaced out in thought of how to present his gift.
"Alastor?" You waved one of your furry hands in front of his face. The red deer shook his head, causing the lights on his antlers to rattle, and looked back to you.
"Yes?" He said smoothly. You giggled and stood up, pulling him to his feet.
"Lunch is almost ready, Al, let's go downstairs and find Husk so we can sit together!" You pulled him out of your room, locked the door, and dragged him downstairs.
Husk was already sitting at the table, nursing a bottle of red wine. You smirked and sat next to him. Alastor sat next to you.
"Hey, Husk, how's your Christmas?" You asked him excitedly.
"It's just like any other day of the year; pointless," he drank some more. You chuckled.
He was wearing the hat you gave him that morning. Instead of black with a red band and an orange feather, it was black with a (f/c) band and one of his own feathers that you found on the floor of the lobby. If course he was confused about how you managed to get your hands on one of his feathers without him noticing, but you just told him he t was your incredible sleight of hand. He had rolled his eyes and walked off to find some alcohol to make the day tolerable.
"Well, are you excited to eat?" You nudged his arm with your elbow.
"Well, duh," he drank the last sip of his wine and made a disappointed face. "I'm going to be right back. I need some liquor or whiskey or something."
You watched him stand up and walk off to his stash. You smiled at Alastor, ready for lunch.
