The night could not pass any slower. You tossed and turned, eagerly anticipating the presents tomorrow and your confession to Alastor. You decided to send Blue a text, inviting them to Christmas morning tomorrow.

Buy he slept just as bad. He could barely close his eyes. He knew that after tomorrow, he could officially do all the couple things he'd always wanted to do with you. Like cuddling, kissing, never not touching eachother.

All in all, you were both very, very excited.

--------------

The morning finally came.

You leapt out of your bed and got dressed in a red coat that reached down to your knees with a white fur trim. You wore similarly colored red pants and a pair of black boots. You made sure to comb your fur until it was super soft.

Alastor dressed almost as quickly as you, in his normal attire plus the Christmas lights you had given him. His hair was smooth and tidy and he was ready to listen to you telling him all about your love.

You both left your rooms at the same time and raced down the stairs. The elevator wouldn't be fast enough today. You sat on the floor in front of the beautiful, white and red Christmas tree.

Charlie and Vaggie came downstairs and joined you, soon followed by Angel.

"Vaggie, can we give eachother our presents now?" Charlie was bouncing with glee. Vaggie nodded.

Everyone passed presents around to eachother. You got pepper spray from Vaggie, a hand made set of voodoo dolls of everyone at the hotel from Nifty (they weren't connected spiritually to anyone, just for looks), a set of five black bowties from Charlie, and an empty box from Angel. Alastor told you he'd give you your present later.

"Wow. This Christmas is better than anything I've experienced when I was alive," you said. Husk then walked downstairs with a single, small box. It was wrapped in red and green paper and it was for you.

"Here you go, (y/n). I thought I should give you something since you've been such a wonderful demon to be around," he gave you the box and you ripped it open. Inside, there was a bracelet. It was metal which looked woven and it had a small pendant of a (c/a) head in the center. You smiled and put it on your wrist.

"Thank you Husk," you pulled him into a hug and rested your head on his shoulder. "This means a lot coming from you."

He wrapped his arms and wings around you.

"You're the best dad ever," you whispered in his ear. He seemed a little surprised when you said that and soon pulled away.

There was a knock on the door which you assumed was Blue.

"I'll get it," you said, walking over to the door. Sure enough, it was the purple fox.

"Hey, (Y/n), I got you something," Blue handed you a framed portrait of you and them standing together with big goofy smiles on your faces.

"Thanks, Blue!" You gave them a hug and invited them inside. Alastor bit his lip to stop himself from dragging you away from the strange fox. "I know the perfect place to put this. I'll be right back, my present is in my room."

You ran upstairs and grabbed the new ombre pink and blue hoodie you got for them and came back down.

"Oh my gosh! I love this! Thanks, (N/n)," They used a nickname which made Alastor even more annoyed. You smiled widely at Blue and introduced them to Charlie, Vaggie, Nifty, Angel Dust, Husk, and finally, Alastor.

"Oh, so this is him, huh?" They nudged your arm with their elbow. You laughed nervously and blushed.

"Yeah, that's him," you mumbled, looking at the floor.

Alastor looked at your face for any hint of what you and Blue were talking about. He was starting to feel a kind of rage in his stomach. Was it jealously? No. It couldn't be. Could it?

"(Y/n), dear, may I speak to you for a second?" Alastor looked at Blue for a second then back you. "Alone?"

You exchanged mischievous glances with Blue before you followed Alastor to the kitchen.

Alastor held your shoulders and looked you in the eyes.

"Who is that and why have I never heard about them from you before?" His look was a mixture of concern and disappointment. You reached your hands up to his neck and moved your thumbs gently up and down.

"That's Blue, like I told you. They're a friend I met when I was... Going out to see another friend. We hit it off really well and now we're best friends!" You stopped moving your thumbs. "You don't need to be jealous."

Alastor scoffed.

"Me? Jealous!? Ha! No. Not me, I will never be jealous of anyone ever in my entire afterlife," he crossed his arms and turned sideways while still looking at you.

"Well then I guess you won't mind if I go hang out with Blue some more," you spun toward the kitchen door and started to walk away until Alastor grabbed your waist and pulled you back to him.

The sudden feeling of his hands on your hips and then suddenly being pressed against him made your stomach fill with butterflies.

"No," he quietly said.

"Al, what is it?" You were still pressed against him as he wrapped his arms tightly around your torso.

"I don't..." He sighed and then resumed talking. "I want you to be with me," he whispered.

"Oh, Al," you twisted around in his grasp and hugged him around his neck. You pulled him down and pecked him on the lips which caused him to blush madly.

"I love you. I would never choose someone else over you," you told him. His hands began shaking as he nodded. He knew it would go something like this, he just never thought he would like even just a tiny kiss from you.

You slipped away from Alastor and went back out to the lobby to join Blue and the other demons.

The tall deer just stood in the kitchen, waiting until he wasn't flustered, to show himself to the others again.

He just couldn't wait to give you his gift.
