You had no idea what you were thinking, blowing Alastor a kiss like that. And with Lucifer there! What were you doing.

You were backstage, leaning into Husk who was stroking your back gently.

"Husk I fucked up," you were whining. "What if he hates me for doing that!? What if he stops talking to me!?" You grabbed Husk's arms, your ears flattened against your head as you stared into his wide eyes.

"What if Lucifer thought it was for him!" You collapsed onto Husk's chest and gripped the fur on his arms hard. He winced and stopped rubbing your back. You sobbed into his fur.

"(Y/n), you're overthinking this," he subtly pushed you away from him and you stumbled back a bit. "Alastor loves you. Have you seen the way he's been treating you and looking at you over the past week you've known him?"

You nodded.

"Alastor is showing all the signs you need to confirm that blowing a kiss to him was not a bad thing. You know, he probably loved seeing you do that to him."

You rubbed your tears away with the sleeve of your coat.

"You're right. But what if he really does hate me?"

"Darling, if I hated you, you wouldn't still be here," Alastor's voice sounded behind you. You turned away from Husk, you tail flicking, and looked the tall deer in the eyes.

"Alastor!" You ran over to him and threw your arms around him. He tensed up and flinched a bit before wrapping his arms carefully around you.

"You did wonderfully up there, (y/n)," he praised you. "Absolutely sublime," his thumbs moved up and down your shoulder blades which sent small shivers down your spine.

"Yeah, it was really something," Husk walked over and patted your back.

"(Y/N)," Charlie ran over to you and dragged you out of Alastor's arms.

"Yes?" You said with perked up ears, ready to take on any words the princess might have to say.

"That was AMAZING!" she bounced up and down gleefully. "When is the next time you can perform!?"

"Ummm, whenever?" You smiled at her excitement and slightly bounced with her.

"Dad- sorry- Lucifer said it was beautifully performed and he would love to see you sing again. Are you available all the time?"

"It's not like I have anything better to do, Charlie," you said in a peppy tone.

"Great! How about in a month for Christmas?" She asked.

"Sure, what do you want me to sing?" You queried.

"You decide. It'll be better if you're the one who chooses a song you like," she said. You thought about your favorite Christmas song but you liked so many and knew the words to all of them.

"Can I decide later?" You tilted your head and your tail swayed lightly behind you.

"Sure, you have a month."

"Thanks! I'll talk to you soon," you walked back over to Alastor and Husk.

"What did she say?" Alastor's ears twitched.

"I'm going to perform a song around Christmas time," you leaned towards Alastor.

"Well I'm rather excited to hear it," he patted you head.

"Yeah, I think I'll actually be looking forward to Christmas if you're singing something," Husk smiled at you.

"Yes, I am looking forward to that," Lucifer strode over to you softly and placed a hand on your back. "May I have a word with you, dear?" He looked down at you.

The glare Alastor was shooting at Lucifer made you worry he might do something violent. You widened your eyes and raised your eyebrows at Alastor to catch his attention. He looked at you and then back at the floor.

"Yes," you followed him to the other side of the room.

"I would like to offer you a job," he put his hands on your shoulders and from the corner of your eye, you saw Alastor clench his staff harder.

"What?" You looked at him skeptically.

"Come live with me and my wife and perform for us every day. In exchange, you will stay safe from all exterminations, be granted powers such as shape shifting and making anything appear at any time, and you will get personal access to anywhere in hell at anytime, and I mean anywhere," his grip tightened.

You thought for a moment.

"It's tempting, but no," you said. His eyes widened in confusion.

"I have friends here. I like my life. Afterlife? Existence here where I am right now," you looked into his yellow eyes.

He opened and closed his mouth a few times in thought.

"Before you say anything else," you continued, "you could always attend the performances I do here. You seem to enjoy them quite a bit," you smirked at him.

"Okay then," he let go of you. "Have a good night," and with that, he walked away.

You turned back to Alastor to join him once more. Husk was gone and had probably returned to the check-in desk to get loaded.

"Alastor," you took his hands in yours. "I want you to know that I just declined the offer of power and a wonderful life so I could stay here with you."

Alastor's smile widened as he stared laughing and lifted you into the air.

"Please never leave! No matter what he continues to offer you," Alastor's eyes glinted with glee as he set you down once more.

"I don't plan on it," you told him.

He smiled down at you lovingly which is something you never thought you'd see on his face.

You yawned, full of tiredness from the eventful day that had preceded your conversation with the devil himself.

"(Y/n), do you need to go to bed?" Alastor tilted his head and looked at your sleepy face.

"Yes," you went limp in his arms. "Definitely."

He walked with you to the elevator and took you all the way to the top floor. You took out your keys and unlocked your door to go inside.

"Have a good night, darling, and wonderful dreams," he looked at you with a soft smile before you closed you door and slipped into your pajamas and tucked yourself into bed, ready for sleep's warm embrace to take you in it's arms.
