You and Alastor sat on the bed with an awkward silence in between you. You kept glancing at each other every so often until you decided to talk. But you both started at the same time.
"Oh, sorry, you first," you said to Alastor, twirling your tail in your hands.
"No you, I interrupted," he looked into your (e/c) eyes with a soft smile plastered onto his face.
"Umm," you stopped for a second and sighed. "Do you want to sing the song again or do you have better things to do?" You let go of your tail and started playing with the sleeve of your shirt.
"I hate to be rude, but I must finish something. I'll see you later?" He looked out the window at the darkening sky. You followed his gaze.
"Yeah, sure," you slid out of his bed and towards his open door, shutting it as you left.
You went to your room and flopped down on your bed. Thoughts of Alastor raced through your brain. It made you so happy to know he loved you. The only thing that could make you any happier than you were would be spending your entire afterlife with him.
You closed your eyes and thought of all the possible futures with him. Scenarios flashed through your brain of all sorts of things. Your personal favorite, a beautiful wedding.
You sighed happily and let your brain image anything and everything it could about Alastor. You remembered his kisses and wished you could just pull him on top of you right now and leave your lips locked for how ever long it was possible.
You rolled into your side and remembered waking up with him arms snuggly around your waist. His warm chest pressed up against your back firmly. His hot, sleeping breath on the back of your neck.
Alastor was everything you wanted in a man.
He was perfect.
You stood up and went to the bathroom to take a shower and get ready to go to bed. You wished you were at your shared home with Alastor so you could use his shampoo. It was a wonderful scent which smelled exactly like him! Like a warm, crackling fire and frankincense. You smelled your shampoo as you massaged it into your fur. It smelled like watermelons and kiwis. It was no where near as wonderful as Alastor, but he, for some reason, liked it.
You cleaned up and stepped out of the shower, wrapping yourself in a large, white towel. You sat on the edge of the tub and dried off. After you were dry, you put on your pajamas and slipped into bed.

You woke up holding something small in your hands. It was the little Husk doll you had. You looked at the small red feathers with card suits that made up his wings. Nifty sure had a nack for making wonderful dolls.
You threw off your covers and set the doll version of Husk back on your desk with the rest of the Hazbin crew. You sighed. Minus Alastor of course.
Stood up and stretched your body out. You rolled your neck and swiveled your ears around to wake up.
You smacked your lips together and thought of what you had to do today.
Oh that's right.
Nothing.
You flung yourself back onto your bed and waited for motivation.
And none came.
You laid there staring at the ceiling for at least half an hour until your stomach grumbled. You stood up, got dressed, and headed downstairs.
You sat down next to Husk at the front desk with a bacon and cheese muffin. You looked at Husk intensely until he looked back. He smirked at your serious face.
"Are you going to be an attention whore now?" He asked you, slouched against the desk.
You took a bite out of your breakfast and shrugged. You pressed yourself against Husk's side and tugged one of his wings around you.
"Alright, I'm taking that as a yes. Or are you just cold?" He retorted. You nodded, finishing your muffin. He laughed and let you use his warmth to make yourself comfortable.
"Is there a reason you're not talking?" He pet the area between your ears.
"I miss Alastor. He hasn't left his room to come knock on my door. And he usually does that at seven!" You whined to the cat who nodded with his eyes closed.
"Maybe he's busy?" He suggested. You scoffed and crossed your arms.
"Alastor? Too busy for his own girlfriend? No way, dude. He's been putting me first since day one," you took one of Husk's wing feathers in your hands and stroked it. It was really soft.
"Welp, can't argue with that. What do you want to do until he's done with whatever he's up to," Husk then suddenly widened his eyes. "Maybe he went on one of his hunting trips again. He's probably run out of venison from you living there and eating with him."
You shrugged again and let go of his feathers.
"He hasn't left his room. I wonder what he's doing in there?" You stood up straight and slipped away from Husk's wings, leaving cold until you reached Alastor's warm embrace.
You made your way to his door and knocked on it three times.
"Al, are you okay in there?" You asked him. You heard a groan and a drawer close softly.
"I'm fine, dear," he said as he opened the door. He looked like he hadn't slept at all. There were bags under his eyes, his posture didn't have it's normal straight spine, his clothes were slightly wrinkled, and his hair was frizzy.
"Jeez, what happened?" You reached up and cupped his face in your hands, turning it side to side.
His eyes closed as he groaned again and leaned into your touch, pressing his hands against yours.
"I forgot to sleep, but I'm fine. I'll just get rest tonight," he stood a little straighter and stretched.
"No. You're getting it now," you told him, stepping inside and locking the door behind you.
You dragged him to his unmade bed and slid in beside him. Immediately, sleep took him and he curled his body around you from behind, hugging you tight against himself. You turned off his lamp on his nightstand before letting yourself find rest as well.
