Kaito got a call and wasn't that happy about it, and as it had been a hit for him. The concern was big when hearing about it.  And it seemed that his favorite critic has a big problem. The last time they saw each other was eight years ago as the other decided to stop being a detective. By now he found Pandora had destroyed it.

It was three years ago and he finally got peace. The organization got destroyed as well. He pondered what had happened in the last eight years that made the Heisei holmes have PTSD? He frowns maybe he had been missing something. Since then he learned how to treat people with PTSD. Not many knew yet about that farm. He just started this farm a year ago. It gets funded by the government as this was one of the farms.

Of course, he wasn't the only one who has one, and they grew over the years. That he had now his own farm made him feel joy. He could help others with their mental problems. Kaito did have some small issues as well, and it made it easier to know how people feel with these mental problems. Maybe that was why they let him have this farm.

The police excused him as he helped with taking down the organization. Not to mention that he helped so many people. Kaito was sure that they couldn't have done that without his help nor could he have done that alone. The other shook his head as he let out a sigh. His favorite horse was right now nudged slightly into him.

"Sorry Sahara, I guess I am just worried."

Sahara was the first horse he got, and no one managed to get her to ride, nor touch or clean.
He pets the horse, which huffed slightly and enjoyed the pet he was giving her. All of his horses were for people with mental problems. It was usual to have people work here, with some mental problems. Not just that, but all his animals, and he made sure that he chooses animals which were not rough. In his farms, were horses, six dogs, some rabbits and as well his white doves, which belonged to him. Sahara was his horse and the mare was not letting anyone on her, other than himself and Saguru.

It worried him and the former Kaito Kid wasn't sure what to feel about this. That Saguru had told him two days ago beforehand helped. It made him prepared to be careful about his wordings. The brit didn't know much as well. Should he tell the other that he was the former Kaito Kid? It wasn't publicly known that he was Kid. What he knew that Tantei-han would bring him here, and they would decide what was the best. Yesterday the Osakan called and he told him what the other knew about Shinichi. But Hattori wasn't too much of help either, as Shinichi blocked off whenever he tried to get the other to talk to him. That was why he brought Shinichi to this farm. For now, all he could wait for those two arrive.

"Hattori, do you really think that this is a good idea?"

The voice was familiar and it made his lips go into a thin line. The voice sounded soft and so fragile. Almost like the male would soon break down into tears, or that he would soon try to run away. Next to him was one of his dogs, it was a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The spaniel looking up to him as if asking for permission.

"Yes, and now stop lookin' like this. It will do ya good, trust me."

The other voice had an Osakan accent, and with this, he knew it was the person who called Hattori Heiji. Surprisingly the other seemed more calm, less then what he used to. And he guessed it must be bad. That bad that the other accepted the idea of Saguru. Kaito knew that these two aren't really friends and usually argued. One last pet of Sahara and he began to walk away. The dog began to run off, towards the two.

As soon as he came out he had a friendly smile. The spaniel was named Watson. It wasn't his idea but the idea came from Saguru. He didn't mind it as it was something that made him remember about his favorite critic. Watson was waging its tail and looking up at Shinichi. The other crouched down by now and giving the dog a pet. His indigo met with dark green and the other looked surprised. For a second he showed his kid smirk and the other smiled amused at him.

"Hello to both of you."

His voice was soft and as non-threatening as possible, still the other got startled and the dog instantly snuggled more into the startled male. Which made the other calm down more

"Sorry about him. I am guessing you are the owner of the farm.  Didn't expect to see the formal Kid having a farm. I thought you would start a career as a magician."

That was making him smile sadly at Hattori. Yes, that was once his dreams, but when seeing so many traumatized people that he decided to put that dream on hold.

"Was my dream, but that day-"

He paused and finally remembered something which always felt strange. That there was someone a male, which looked so familiar to Shinichi. Could that be that this male that day really had been Shinichi?

"Hattori can we talk for a moment, please. Watson, stay with him."

The dog wagged its tail barking once. Shinichi was too occupied with the dog to realize what Hattori nor himself had said. As they were out of sight he gave Hattori a serious expression.

"What did ya want ta talk about?"

His expression was grim and he grimaced at that memory.

"Was Shinichi one of them? The black Organization case?"

Hattori opened his mouth and gaped at the other in surprise.

"How ta hell do ya know this?"

Kaito let out a few curses and his heart shattered in million pieces. He felt so guilty now, that he hadn't realized that this had really been Shinichi.

"I was there. At that time I didn't know that it was him, I just thought that the person looked familiar and that this wasn't Tantei-kun. I really thought that they just had operated on him, trying to make him look like Shinichi."

That was making him horrified knowing how much the other had gone through. He remembered that the other disappeared seven years ago so does that mean-oh dear god. How in the living hell had he survived that long?

"Alright, listen here Kuroba-san. Don't feel guilty. I thought at first like this as well, until they made a DNA test. He couldn't work anymore. Lost his job two months ago."

That was making him give a small nod, as he gave a small weak smile.

"I will try my best to help him. How worse is it?"

Kaito hoped that it wasn't that worse, but from the grim yet worried expression it seemed that it was worst then he imagined.

"He gets sporadically flashbacks. We tried with a therapist, but that went horribly wrong. I usually wouldn't listen to Hakubastard, but this is too serious. It will do him good."

That was too expected. A sigh escaped as he went through his hear.

"Let me guess he stopped going because they triggered it more?"

The Osakan blinked and then a nod.

"Ya, how did ya know?"

The other chuckled as he knew that there are cases were therapist usually isn't enough.

"Tell you this. Since having that farm I have seen people like Shinichi. Being here and coming a therapist should work. I usually advise that they come here to my farm and hold a session at my house."

That was making the other relieved. Now knowing the severity was making him go through his hair once more. This was one of the sever cases.

"Did you pack things for him? It is better that he will live here for now. I do not always choose this, but he has a severe case of PTSD. And I decided it would be best. Watson is someone who can help him."

(I don't know much about PTSD so I hope I am not writing any bs. XD)

The other paused and gave him a smile. It was a different one which made him perplexed.

"Of course, had ta force that ahoshi. I hope ya can help him. And thank you for rescuin' him."

That took him by surprise as he waved it away with a soft smile on his lips.

"It's alright, was just doing the right thing. I will try my best to make him better.

So they walked back and both Hattori and Kaito paused. He saw all the dogs surrounding him and the other giggled at the affection. Dark green eyes met indigo and both had a smile now. Hattori seemed to be relieved. God that giggle was adorable, it sounded so angelic and innocent.
