He closed the book and let out a sigh. Soon a knock was heard and he replied with a soft 'c-come in,' the door opened and he glanced at it to see that it was Kaito.

"I wanted to check on you as it is now an hour later. "

That made him blink as he gave him a small smile.

"T-thank you. I d-did manage t-to write."

Kai to perk up at this and giving him a soft smile.

"Did it help?"

The answer was clear, as it helped him so much. Finally, he managed to write down what was weighing him down.

"I-it help m-me a l-lot."

The other looked relieved at this. Shinichi realized now how exhausting he felt as soon a yawn came over him.

"Good to know, you want to go to bed? I have finished my work anyway."

He was thing about it and giving a small nod soon afterward. It wasn't doing him good staying up too late, and he was tired anyway. Sleeping alone wasn't the best idea and he sometimes tried to avoid sleeping. Sometimes the nightmares were way too much to handle. It led to him trying to avoid sleep as much as he could.

"Alright, let's get bed ready then. See you in a few minutes."

With this, the other turned around and closed the door softly. Soon he was in his bed wear which was an indigo-colored one. It was always in this color he chooses th two as it was his favorite. A color that helped him out when he was still in that hell hole. It was weird how much impact Kaito kid had on him. White was as well his favorite color, but he preferred the indigo color more.

A few minutes later he had brushed his teeth and waited for the other to come back. Saguru had said his good night before. It took the other male two more minutes and then he entered black colored sleeping wear. As soon as he laid eyes on him, he raised his eyebrow at him. It was confusing and so he tilted his head. Wondering about why the other looked at him.

"I realized something, your clothes tend to be Indigo or white. Why is that?"

That made him blink as a slight flush spread through his cheeks. It was something that he subconsciously always choose.

"I u-uh-I-its-..."

His entire face lit up in a more prominent shade of red at this as he realized that he really had most of his clothes in these two colores. The other blinked and chuckled softly.

"Aww, you don't need to embarrassed about it.~"

The other male chirped which made it so much worse. God, how hadn't he realize that his choices always tend to get towards the two colors?

"I d-did it subconsciously. U-u-usually I t-t-tend to get t-these two c-colors."

Kaito closed the door now walking towards the chair again sitting down and raising one of his eyebrows again in a questioning manner.

"Do you know why? I am curious about it. In the past, you usually never wore indigo or white."

He knew why and it was something that he just now really realized. The two-color were always his safe heaven and that always stayed. The two-color meant to him warmth one which he clung onto when he was there. It was something that was deep engraved into him.

"B-because t-these two c-color were the o-only thing w-which I s-still remembered. J-just the two c-color. I l-loved them and t-they were my safe heaven..."

His voice soft and he had a small yet soft smile on his lips. Kaito opened his mouth but closed it again.

"You-..."
