Draco's P.O.V

The room door creaked open and I looked up from the Defense Against Dark Arts [DADA] revision sheet.

Hermione slowly walked in, not noticing me. She was still in the same dress she wore to the wedding and her hair was loose. I crept up behind her and wrapped my arms around her waist. She froze, before relaxing slightly.

"I am sorry" I said again, for the hundredth time in a month.

"I told you I forgave you Draco. You really proved to me you were sorry in the last month and honestly, I realized that you weren't as bad as you seem" she said, turning toward me.

I had my arms wrapped around her waist, holding her close to me. I breathed a sigh of relief, resting my forehead against hers.

Her eyes were full of compassion and mercy. I don't understand her, if I was in her spot, I would never forgive me.

"I don't get it. I would have never forgiven you if you did this to me." I pried gently.

She stepped out of my touch, shaking her head.

"If that's what you want." she said, turning away from me.

Nope. No. Nada. No way.

I took three steps and came in front of her. Unfortunately she didn't realize and banged right into me. She wobbled, falling backwards. My arm shot out to stop her fall.

It felt so...cliché. She looked down at our position and smiled. Wait...she doesn't mind?

I looked back down at her soft pink lips and an urge to kiss them overcame me. I leaned down slowly, glancing up to her, asking for her permission. She looked at me with surprise, before nodding.

I crashed my lips onto hers. They were soft, like butter and we melted together. I pulled her right back onto her feet and continued kissing. It felt so right. She kissed me back and I could taste chocolate.

I wrapped my arms around her waist and her arms went around my neck. Her slender hands came out and tugged my hair, earning a small groan from me.

I put my tongue at her entrance, trying to get in but she kept her lips firmly closed. I quietly groaned, but she didn't budge. She smile as I tried to unsuccessfully pry them open.

I pulled away and gently lay my forehead against hers. We just started into each others eyes for years until she pecked me on the lips, saying she was going to go shower.

I got into bed, practically half asleep by the time my face hit the bed, so I barely had the strength to pull the covers onto me.

The door opened about 100 years later after Hermione was finally done. She was only in a night gown, obviously, but she still looked stunning. After the battle, she got ummm, significantly...prettier.

I lifted my head to look at her a she passed me a small smile.

"You look like you died" she said, climbing onto her side of the bed.

"Gee thanks, my day was great, how was yours?" I asked sarcastically, pulling her waist from her side of the bed to me.

She squealed and I couldn't help but laugh.

She relaxed and snuggled into me. I lay my head in her hair, getting used to the feeling. She turned and kissed me on the cheek and I grinned so hard I think I broke my jaw, and that's coming from someone who barely ever smiles. She had powers or something.

She looked at my face and laughed quietly. I groaned, feeling an unfamiliar warmth all around my neck and face.

"Your'e blushing!" she exclaimed and I groaned again, hiding my head even further.

She laughed her melodic laugh.

"Goodnight Draco" she said, kissing me on the tip of my nose and my thoughts turned hazy.

"You have that star struck look on your face again" she said, laughing,

I smiled and she nuzzled into my chest. I kissed the top of her head and mumbled good night.

One of my arms was wrapped around her waist and the other was entwined with her hand. Everywhere we touched I felt sparks, sparks I have never felt in my life. They sent electric shocks all around my body.

I woke up to the sound of screaming. I looked around in panic and spotted Hermione next to me. She was sweating, most likely having a bad dream. What was she thinking about?

She continued screaming and wouldn't wake up. I lightly kissed her cheek several times until she calmed down.

I slowly rattled her awake and she jumped up. I handed her a glass of water and she downed it.

"What happened?" I asked, concerned.

"Bela...Le...Cruc..." she stuttered.

Bellatrix Lestrange. She was thinking about the curse she used on Hermione.

I gently put her back down. She began seating again. I was about to say something when I saw a trail of water.

No don't cry. I can't handle crying.

I picked her up and plopped her into my lap. She hid her head in my neck and cried. She drenched my shirt but I didn't really care.

"I'm sorry" I repeated a hundred times.

I laid her on the bed and covered her. I got in myself and she leaned up to kiss my cheek.

I twisted at the last second, capturing her lips with my own.
