It's been twelve hours since we sent Gracie with my parents. It's been a hard day trying to adjust to not having my daughter here. But Seth has been helping. He's been trying to keep my mind occupied and so far it's been working. We went walking together, went to the beach and played video games in Roman and Jordan's room. Now we were getting ready to go out with them. I promised Jordan the other night that we could out and celebrate my return and that's exactly what we were gonna do.
I finished getting my heels on as Seth walked out of the bathroom. I looked at him and smiled. "Damn. My man sure does know how to dress to impress." I said. He was wearing his grey skinny jeans with his black button up shirt. Damn it. Why does that outfit always drive me nuts on him?
Seth chuckled. "I think I should be saying that to you. You look hot." he said. He walked up and slid his arms around my waist. "I love you. I'm so crazy in love with you. I look at you every day and I just can't help but ask myself how I got so damn lucky. You're an incredible wife. An amazing human being and a phenomenal mother. I wish I could be half the person you are."
"You already are." I said. "You were a great person when I met you. You haven't changed much. You're still an amazing person, a wonderful husband and the best father."
"No. Before I met you, I was a bit of a player. I couldn't keep a relationship going to save my life because I was always on the road and there were so many new faces every week that I was constantly tempted and I gave into those temptations a lot. But then I met you and I didn't wanna do that anymore. There was something about you that just brought me in and I constantly wanted to know more about you. You made me a better person. You made me into someone that I can look in the mirror and be happy with what I see looking back."
I looked at him. "Do you ever get tempted still?" I asked.
"The temptations are always there. But being with you, I never wanted to act on them because for the first time in my life, I have someone I love coming home to." he said.
I smiled and then pressed my lips to his. "I love you." I said. "And I'm thinking that we need to get out of this room before I change my mind about going out."
"You can change your mind. I'd be all for you changing your mind." he said. I chuckled.
"Come on you goof." I said. "We have people waiting for us." I grabbed him by the hand and we walked out of the hotel room. As soon as we got to the lobby, we spotted Roman and Jordan waiting for us. "Hey guys." I said as we walked up to them.
"Damn bitch. You look hot." Jordan said with a smile as she looked me up and down.
"That's what I said." Seth replied.
"Who's ready to get they party on?" I asked as I bounced in place a little.
Roman chuckled a little. "Let's go guys. The club awaits us." he said before we walked out of the hotel. Roman rented a limo for all of us tonight which was a little much just go to a club but, I wasn't gonna complain. I just wanted to have some fun. We climbed in the limo and then we were off. Jordan handed us all glasses before popping open a glass of champagne. She held her glass up and looked at me.
"Here's to Davina. You've been through so much in the past two years and it's amazing how you're standing, well sitting, here with us today. But the fact that you are only proves what I've always known. You are the strongest person I have ever met. When something knocks you down you get right back up and you prove time and time again just how indestructible you are. And I'm super glad you're back with us. It's been a long time coming." she said.
"Cheers." Roman, Seth and I said together. I smiled. I was so blessed to have an amazing group of people around me. It was nice to go out and have fun tonight. It was nice to be around my best friends including my husband. I was determined to have a blast. Kick my return off with a huge bang.

We pulled up to the club and climbed out of the limo. Seth put his arm around my shoulders and Roman did the same thing with Jordan before we walked into the club. The music was loud and it made me smile. It's been a long time since I've been inside any place like this. I was so pumped up for this. We all walked up to the bar and ordered drinks before downing them in record time. I looked out at the dance floor. The song On The Floor by Jennifer Lopez was playing through the speakers. I looked at Jordan and we both smiled before dragging Roman and Seth out to the dance floor. We weren't gonna waste any time getting into the fun and what made it even better was that Seth and Roman were getting into it too. As soon as the song ended a new one came on. It was one Seth and I knew very well. Say You Won't Let Go by James Arthur. It was our wedding song. I looked at Seth and smiled as he put his arms around me and we swayed to the music. "I'm happy to see you enjoying tonight." he said. "It's been a while, huh?"
"Yeah." I said. "I don't think I've been inside a club since Halloween over a year ago." I said. "But it feels great to be here with you." I looked up at him. "You know, I don't tell you this often and I really should but I appreciate you so much. The way you lift me up every day with your compliments. The way you make me smile. The way you love me. I'm so grateful to you for everything and I am so lucky to have you by my side. I love you so much Seth. And I don't know what I did to deserve you. But I'm so happy with you. And you proved, when I went through the hardest time in my entire life, just how amazing you are. And patient, kind. You're my everything."
"I'll always be by your side Davina. Always. You're the love of my life. I've never met anybody like you. I love you beautiful. Always and forever." he said. I smiled and then laid my head on his chest as we swayed together. Seth lifted my chin up so I would look at him. He pressed his lips to mine once and then smiled at me. "I know you went through something very horrible and right after, you got pregnant and you were so happy, at least, you acted like it. And there were nights there in the beginning of the pregnancy that I would hear you crying yourself to sleep. I didn't know what to say to you then. I didn't know how to make you feel better and by the time I did, you were past it completely. But I wanna tell you now what I should have told you then." He paused and moved a piece of hair from my face. "No matter what we go through in life, no matter what obstacles we face, just know that I will always protect you. And through everything, you will always have me in your corner. I promise." he said. I felt a tear roll down my cheek.
"Once again you prove just how lucky I am to be with someone like you." I said. "I know that no matter what we face, we will only come out stronger because we have each other and that's all I've ever really wanted." I pressed my lips to his. I looked at him and smiled. "You know, as much as I really wanna celebrate, I think I just wanna end the night with you. Just the two of us together."
"That can be arranged." he said. He grabbed my hand and we walked over to Jordan and Roman before telling them that we were gonna head back to the hotel. I loved my best friend, but Seth and I have gotten pretty raw tonight and I just wanted to be with him alone. I wanted to spend quality time with my husband.

We walked into the hotel and I set my purse down on the chair before turning around. Seth was unbuttoning his shirt. I walked up around him and smirked before running my hand down his chest. I slowly slid his shirt off his shoulders and let it fall to the floor. He just looked at me with lust in his eyes. I stepped even closer to him so my chest was touching his. He bent down and pressed his lips to mine and the butterflies in my stomach went crazy. He slid his arm around my waist and held me tighter. I wrapped my arms around his shoulders as I deepened the kiss.
Seth broke the kiss and let out a deep breath. "Oh god. I can't even begin to describe how much I love being with you. You are my light. My everything. God, I love you so much." he said.
I smiled. "I love you too baby." I said. "More than you can ever imagine." I pressed my lips back to his and he held me tight once again before laying me down on the bed. This was the best celebration ever. My return to the ring and being at Seth's side every day, celebrating that was a success. I just couldn't wait to get into the ring again.
