Seth, Gracie and I landed in Florida. Tomorrow was Jordan and Roman's engagement party but Roman was letting us stay at their house. Jordan new about that part. Just not the party yet. I don't know how he was gonna keep this party from her without her getting suspicious but I guess we'll see. Besides, I was excited to spend some time with them and show Gracie where Jordan and Roman live.
We pulled up to the house and Seth shut the car off before we got out. I grabbed my suitcase and then Gracie while Seth grabbed the rest of the bags. We walked up to the door and I knocked. A moment later it opened and Jordan smiled at me. "Hey guys. Come on in." She opened the door for us to walk inside and then, immediately she took Gracie from me. Of course. She hasn't seen her since I returned almost a month ago so she was taking advantage of holding her. "Hi pretty girl. Hi. Come see your aunt Jordan." she said as she lifted Gracie out of her carseat.
"Let me see that ring." I said as I set my stuff down. She held her hand up and I examine the ring sitting on her finger. It was very beautiful. All silver, huge diamond. Definitely Jordan's style. Roman walked into the living room with a smile on his face. "Damn, Roman, how much did you spend on this thing?"
"Oh you know I can't tell you that." he said. He put his arm around Jordan. "How you guys doing?"
"Good." Seth said. "Did you guys see Raw?"
"Yeah." Jordan said. "Your promo was sick. But then I saw Charlotte and Becky attack Davina backstage. Is that for our story line coming up?"
I nodded. "It sure is. You're gonna be my surprise partner at Fastlane." I told her.
She smiled. "Awesome." she said. "That makes me ten times more excited for this Sunday."
"Tell me about it." I said. "I can't wait to team with you again. We gotta go over our tag moves before Sunday."
"I have a gym downstairs." Roman said. "You guys can work on it here any time."
I smiled. "Thanks Roman." I said. My phone started ringing and I pulled it out of my pocket. It was my mom. I walked outside and answered it. "Hey mom." I said.
"Hey sweetie." she said. "I was just over at your house getting your mail and there was a letter for you."
"Okay. What is it?" I asked.
"I don't really know how to explain it." she said. "It's like a cryptic letter. It sounds pretty angry though."
"What does it say?" I asked.
"Just very simple. 'I'll find a way to repay you for what you've done'." she told me.
"Who sent it?" It was weird, honestly and I don't know who would be sending me a letter like that.
"It doesn't say. There's no return address and they didn't leave a name." she said.
"Okay. Just leave it on the counter and I'll look at it when we get home." I told her. "Thanks for telling me mom."
"No problem. Just be careful. After that fan attacked you and now this letter, I'm worried about you." she said. Typical of my mom. But she was so sweet.
"It's probably nothing. Maybe just a fan." I said. "I'll talk to you later." I hung up the phone and stood there for a second thinking. That letter was weird.
"Everything okay?" I turned around to see Roman coming outside.
"Yeah." I said. "I think so. It was just my mom. Apparently a fan sent me a cryptic letter but they didn't leave a name or return address."
"What did it say?" he asked.
"'I'll find a way to repay you for what you've done'." I said.
"It's probably just a fan that doesn't want you to know who they are. You probably changed their life somehow." he said.
