LOUIS POV

"I had a really good time tonight Ni"

He blushed. I took that as a good sign.

"Me to Lou."

We were at his flat door and now a awkward silence took over us. Do I kiss him? I mean it's only our first date. I don't want him to feel rushed or anything. He said he had an amazing time though on our date, so that means what he said was true. He did like me. But maybe he was lying maybe he doesn't. I shouldn't kiss him.

"Soooo...." He broke the silence.

I chuckled at him, "So, I'll see you tomorrow at work?"

His faced dropped a bit but it quickly recovered. Did I say something wrong?

"Oh ya. See ya later mate"

Mate. Why did that hurt so much.

"Ya bye."

I turned around and headed out towards my car that was parked on the other side of the street. I hopped in and gripped the steering wheel an banged my head against it. Stupid Louis. Why did you mess this up? You like Niall! You messed up big. I saw his porch light turn off and I just sighed to myself. I should have fucking kissed him. I don't want to hurt him though! What if this just date was out of pity because he knows I like him a lot. No Niall wouldn't do that. I mean maybe. fuck. I stopped the inward battle I was having with my self and just thought one thing: 'fuck it'.

NIALLS POV.

He couldn't see me. I was watching him through the living room window. I saw his car just sitting there. Not moving. It was running but he didn't move. I was praying that he wouldn't go. I had the best time ever on our date. Who doesn't love go-karting? Did I do something wrong? I thought he liked me like I liked him. He seemed to have just as much fun as me, but when we got home I was expecting him to push me back against the wall and fucking kiss me! I was right on the edge and ready to fall.

LOUIS POV.

I turned off the car and ran through the yard back to his front door. Before I could knock he turned the lock and met me at the front porch. And I kissed him goodnight. And now that I kissed him, it's a goodnight.

"Baby goodnight"
