Soon it was May and our upcoming Disneyland visit was imminent. Bucky was so excited a few days before our day of adventure. I sat him down and looked at the Disneyland website. He saw the various attractions ranging from the entrance with the train, Main Street USA area, Fantasyland, Tomorrowland to Frontierland. He saw there were many rides like Haunted Mansion, Pirates of the Caribbean, Disneyland Monorail, Thunder Mountain Railroad, Autopia, Space Mountain, Matterhorn, Space Mountain and Indiana Jones ride.

"Looks like I'm really going to like Tomorrowland!" He excitedly said.

"I can tell. You do like futuristic things!" I said to him as we looked at Space Mountain on my laptop.

"If I like it so much can we go more often? Of course, you may not want to when you start showing. I could take Sam if he's in town." James eagerly said. "I would think he will like it there." He added.

"First, I think we need to see if you like it and then decide. I'm sure with all the rides, attractions and shows, you may get distracted. You can get lost easily there. Many kids and some adults do get lost in there and not in a good way." I warned him.

"When are we going anyway?" He asked looking at me with big, round eyes.

"Today's Tuesday. We're going on Thursday. So, we have tomorrow to plan on what rides we want to go on. Also, remember we're going to stuff our faces with junk food!" I said. He smiled at me.

"I can't wait for Thursday!" He said and hugged me.

"I am too. I want to show you around there and get acquainted with the park. Also, I want to show you some of my favorite rides." I gently told him.

"My guess is our kids will go there to enjoy the park, the rides and Mickey Mouse!" He said feeling full of joy for Thursday.

"I'm sure they will!" I said and laughed.

"Can we be there when they open on Thursday morning?" He asked excitedly.

"Yes, we may but first we need to get our sleep tomorrow night. I want you well rested for our adventure. Thursday is going to be a long day and I mean long...." I stressed.

"So, you want me to actually sleep tomorrow night instead of spending it being overly excited and sleep deprived." He said childlike as we hugged.

"Yes, we need to get our sleep so we can enjoy everything on Thursday." I explained.

"Ok Mom!" James said and laughed at me.

"I know you tend to get overly excited about something the night before it happens and you can't sleep. Get it out now so I can enjoy the day with you." I gently said and hugged him.

"I'm glad I have you to keep me in line, especially for things like this, Disneyland!" He said.

"I want my big guy to be a good dad to our son or daughter when we go as a family, Daddy!" I carefully said and added daddy as a joke.

"Daddy? How about pop or papa?" He asked while he laughed.

"I think we'll have time to decide what you want to be called when our baby begins to talk." I said and giggled. He looked at me with sparkly eyes like he just cried while he hugged me.

"OK. I'll be careful in calling you mom or mommy!" He said while he still hugged me. "I hope Thursday comes sooner!" He added.

"I know big guy. I guess we just make today and tomorrow go by fast for us!"

"Sure thing, buttercup!" He said.

We ended up spending our Tuesday and Wednesday preparing for our party in June. When Wednesday night rolled around, I made a point of us going to bed early and getting our sleep. We want to be there at eight in the morning. So that meant a very early morning for us. We normally get up around eight or nine in the morning. Thursday morning, we got up at six and we did sleep well or at least tried. We're not early risers so we're not morning people. We actually drank coffee and got our fill of caffeine for the day. As James said 'we were bright eyed and bushy tailed' for the day. We left at seven and arrived at Disneyland about half an hour later. We parked at a good area of the public parking lot. We thought we were the first ones there but then saw some other cars with the same idea as us. Soon we found out they were families beating the rush and wanting to be there first.
