Chapter 16 -- Tahoe

The next morning, we woke up kind of late and had a late breakfast in bed.

"Mmm... what day is today, Buttercup? I seem to have lost track of time and days we're here." He said as he ate some fruit.

"Uh. Today is Friday. We can spend all day here today and then go back, to see the house in Tahoe City tomorrow." I told him as I ate scrambled eggs and some pancakes. I was surprised I was very hungry.

"So, we can drive around and see what houses we like here today." He said after swallowing some eaten pancakes.

"Can we leave this evening if we want and stay at closer hotel to that house tonight?" He thoughtfully asked as he looked at his breakfast plate.

"Sure thing, Big guy! We can do that if you want. Later on, I can just call the agent on the flyer and ask about the open house times for tomorrow." I said.

"Sounds great. Looks like I got too much to eat!" He said while looking at his food.

"I know. I think they were very generous with our breakfast this morning!" I said with a laugh. "You don't have to eat it all." I kindly said as I went to our mini kitchen to get some more napkins. I returned with more napkins and drank some juice.

"Don't forget we have leftovers, pizza, chicken wings and your steak from last night." I reminded him.

"Yeah, we'll have some good meal with those!" He said.

"Well, I'm done with breakfast. How about you? I know I'm full." I said as I put my plate on the serving cart.

"I'm too. I guess we can go after we're dressed and ready for the day." James said as he placed his plate with mine. We were just lounging around while I wore a robe and him with some low slung sweatpants. You could almost see his deep V cuts in his hip and stomach area. Looks kind of sexy too! Especially with his happy trail of hair running down past the waistband and teasing me with what's below that!

"Well, I'm going to get dressed and cleaned up from breakfast. I'll call that real estate agent and find out when they're doing an open house." I said to him as I pulled out what I was going to wear, dressed in my clothes and headed for the bathroom to brush my teeth. I saw the plates or signs we bought last night in the eating area as I headed to the bathroom. The Tootsie Roll one was on top while the Coke Cola one peaked out underneath the Tootsie Roll sign. I wonder where he's going to put the Tootsie Roll sign. When I was done in the bathroom doing some important grooming, I returned and found James dressed and ready, wearing some jeans and a t-shirt.

"I see you're ready in a flash!" I said coming up to him and planted a minty kiss on his lips.

"Mmm. Yes, I am! I see someone used the mouth wash the hotel provided us with!" He eagerly said. "Reminds me of when we first met or kissed. You used some minty mouthwash then too." He said reflecting back to that time. I just smiled at him.

"Same here! I just wanted to use it now and relive that memory. May I?" I said as I kissed him again.

"Oh boy. I like that minty feeling." He said. I stopped kissing him enough to find my cell phone and the flyer with that number. I made the call to the agent.

"Hi, may I speak to the agent representing the two story house in Tahoe City. It's on Reindeer Way and the house is at the end of a cul-de-sac...." I said as the receptionist transferred me to an agent.

"This is Zeke." A male voice said on the phone, introducing himself.

"Hi, this is Christina. I'm calling about a house I saw on Tuesday and would like to see during an open house. Are you having an open house this Saturday?" I asked.
