The next morning we got up around eight or eight thirty. Another good night of sleeping. Both of us went in Grant's room to see if he's awake. There he was looking adorable with him hugging his toy bear which we wondered how he managed to get a hold of it. Then we saw Lady. She would have been the culprit and pushed the bear towards Grant. Lady was our fourth wheel and a very helpful dog as well. As James said "A built-in babysitter"! I suspect that Lady would be a willing participate on anything Grant wants. Today we're giving him a bath. His first one and I hope not too difficult.

"Do you want to bath him now or after breakfast?" James asked as he looked down at gurgling Grant with his teddy bear.

"I'd say later, after breakfast would be perfect." I said while looking at Grant.

"Mmm... OK...then it will be a quick breakfast for us!" James said.

"When you say quick do you mean something like cereal, yogurt, toast or some fruit?" I asked him.

"We need a balanced breakfast. So I was thinking yogurt and toast if that's OK with you." He said.

"OK. I think that will be fine." I said as I picked up Grant and then all of us went downstairs. Soon we were in the kitchen, James rustled up breakfast rather fast this time. He got out the toaster, the bread from the freezer and pull out butter and peanut butter for our toast. Next thing I know he's toasting our bread for breakfast as I placed Grant on the counter. I needed something to drink and got the orange juice out of the fridge.

"What do you want on your toast?" James asked me.

"Ah, peanut butter would be great." I answered him as he was about to spread something on the toast.

"You know he needs better clothing instead of that diaper and blanket!" He said and then laughed.

"I know. Our friends didn't get us any baby clothes! I think they were too excited for us and got the other things on our registry list!" I said and laughed too.

"I'm glad we're going out today and find him more appropriate baby clothing!" He chuckled as he drank some coffee.

"Ugh! This is horrible coffee! Who the hell made it?" He asked as he made a face and then tossed the coffee down the sink.

"You did! I think it's from yesterday." I said as I helped myself to some yogurt and sat down. James helped himself to the orange juice sitting out on the counter. Soon we're at the kitchen table eating breakfast.

"I must say I don't mind him being half naked all the time but if we're going out somewhere like today, he needs baby clothes." James said as he stuck out his tongue at Grant. James had some yogurt on his tongue. Grant had a look like he was indifferent to his daddy's funny face.

"I have a t-shirt that he can wear when we're done bathing him. I think the shirt will be OK until we get proper baby clothes." I explained.

"Wherever we go, we need to look for some with Winnie the Pooh bear on them! He loves that bear!" James observed while eating breakfast. Grant decided he wanted that with him before we came down. "Where can we find a lot of baby items plus our grocery staples?" He asked.

"Uh... we can go to Target or Walmart. There's also that baby store next to the Target that we normally go to." I said in between bites of my breakfast. "What do you think?" I added.

"Uh... I'd say that baby store first and then go to Target. Hopefully, we'll find another seat like this at the baby store or Target for Grant." He eagerly said.

"I'm with you on that! We should look around the house too and see if we need anything else. I know we pretty much prepared for the baby before he came. Now that we know his size, we'll got an idea of what to look for in the way of clothes." I explained.
