Chapter 15 -- Tahoe

When we got up the next morning, we felt relaxed and rested because of the massages we had yesterday evening. We didn't know what to do for the day so we decided to take advantage of the hotel or as James said, 'A day to unwind and relax and me to take it easy with the baby".

"So, do you think we should call Scott and find out what's happening at the house?" He asked as I lounged on the king size bed.

"Yeah, we should. I'm eager to find out if they scared our neighbors sons." I said.

"I know what you mean!" He laughed as he joined me on the bed.

"One of us can call him and find out. Then later we can go outside and get in the water." I flirted with my husband.

"Getting into the lake again?" He laughed. "Ooo... sounds like fun!" He said and leaned into me for a kiss.

"Yes, it does!" I giggled as we kissed.

"Another dip in the beautiful lake! Hey, maybe I should take some pictures while we're at the beach!" He excitedly said as we made out. After about fifteen minutes of making out, we stopped and James made the call to Scott.

"Hi, Scott! This is James, how's it going there?" James asked when he got through to Scott. They said their hellos and niceties. Soon James came to me to switch his phone over to speaker phone so we can hear what he says.

"How's it going there?" Scott asked us.

"Great. The weather is nice here too and the environment very beautiful. You should come out here. You'll like it!" We said.

"Yeah, I haven't been to Tahoe in a while. I'll guess I'll come up in a few months when I have some time." He said.

"So, how's Lady?" We asked.

"She's great! She helped us get those guys." Scott said. We soon heard background noises.

"Is Luis and Doctor Banner there with you?" James asked.

"Uh. Yes, they are. Come over here guys, you'll have to help me on this. Luis..." Scott prompted the guys to get in on the call.

"Oh, hi you guys, Bucky and Christina. Uh. Oh. What happened with those two goons, Jimmy and John-Boy. We had Scott go in the house as Ant-Man to do some recon work. While he was in the house trying to find some good stuff on Bucky, we called Paul and explained the whole story. We told them Jimmy and John-Boy were drug dealers so Paul had the cops do a drug bust there with Paul as their leader. Paul and one of his guys arrested the boys while finding the drugs in the closet. With Scott and Banner's help, they found something on Bucky in the boys lock box." Luis described with some punchy words and very much to the point.

"What drugs did they find?" We asked.

"Marijuana, cocaine and some meth. The really hard stuff of meth." Luis said fast as if trying to get it all in. We shook our heads while looking at each other thinking of when we experienced that drug bust in the warehouse where Bucky, Hawkeye and Sam did their mission.

"Looks like Paul now has his calling! Drug busts!" James said and started laughing. He thought it was ironic because Paul used to be heavy drug user in his youth.

"What else did they find, especially about Bucky?" I asked, saving James from another laughing attack.

"Oh, yeah! That! Paul's guys and Scott found some pictures of Bucky. One from some fight in Washington D.C. where my cousin once worked at the Smithsonian and then he helped on that hanger for those aircraft flyers that Cap and Bucky fought. Another photo of Big guy in Germany in the hanger of the airport fighting someone who looked like my guy but was all spidery with a tight outfit. It was blue and red and a mask too! Oh, and then the really big reveal, a photo of the Winter Soldier fighting Steve in the street or bridge of D.C. and also a photo of him without his dark mask. Sam also showed up in the photo of Bucky while he was fight America's best with the shield. That's also the street or bridge in D.C." Luis finished his narrative. James just shook his head in response to what Luis said about the photos.
