We found an Italian restaurant and had a delicious dinner. We picked up some brochures at the hotel to look over while waiting on our food. Snow skiing at Heavenly Valley and Sierra-at-Tahoe resorts attracted us since one of us was a snow-skier, me!

"Do you ski any or have done so in the past?" I asked him.

"I really don't know. I think I need to try doing it, to see if I remember at all." James said. "I do know I like to swim and other water activities. I'm just not sure on the water-skiing thing." He added.

"Well, if we have time, we'll have to find someplace that offers skiing and we can do that one afternoon. Did you pack your swim trunks?" I asked him while sipping some club soda.

"I don't think so. I'll have to check when we get back." James said as the waiter appeared with our food. We had ordered some lasagna and ravioli for dinner. They served us some good bread. We also had a salad and drinks.

"Oh... does our dinner look delicious! I can't wait to dig in!" James said as he looked at his plate and got a forkful of beef ravioli.

"I'll look at mine because sometimes I pack some things that are last minute ideas. I may have them." I said I ate my lasagna.

"Good thinking!" he said between bites as he ate his ravioli.

"Is your dinner good?" I asked while I watched him devour his dinner.

"Very! How's yours? Now I need some bread!" James said in between bites.

"It's very good! I never knew lasagna could taste so good!" I said marveled about the tasty pasta sauce on the lasagna. "May I try some of yours?" I asked.

"Sure, go ahead!" He said as he moved his plate toward me. I moved mine so he could help himself to the lasagna. We took a bite from each of our plates and really liked the other's entrée.

"Mmm... this is good!" I said. He said the same thing too, right after me.

"So, you think we'll see the sunset after dinner?" James asked.

"I think later. It's not even eight yet. I would think sometime close to nine we will." I suggested to him.

"Mmm... OK. Remember we want to go the store and get some things before going back to hotel." He reminded me.

"I think we need the truck to go to the grocery not unless you want some junk food from a gas station or the CVS store!" I almost laughed. He smiled and finished his dinner. The waiter brought us more Italian bread to munch on while eating our dinner.

"I think drugstore food would be better!" He said and chuckled some. We walked to the restaurant; our hotel staff recommend this restaurant to us because its' within walking distance. We didn't want to be in the truck anymore. Along the way, we saw a CVS store as we walked to the restaurant. On our way back, we'll stop there to get some things. The convenient shopping mall is perfect for us, I think we will find things that we may need there. The CVS store has some refrigerated items and dry food we can choose from, not a big selection since it's a drugstore. We do have a fridge in our room so we can get some refrigerated food and be fine until we go to the store tomorrow.

"I guess some things at the CVS store will tide us over until tomorrow or the next day." I answered him.

"Sounds like a plan. Can I pick some things?" He asked.

"Sure, you can." I said to him. We had leftovers from dinner, so we asked for boxes for them and brought them back with us. We carried our leftovers as we stopped at the store and got some things we needed before going back to the hotel. We were in the store for a while and came out in time to enjoy the rest of the evening to nighttime outside. It was nice and cool at this time of day as we exited the CVS store.
