mom: "[y/n]!"
y/n: "Yes?"
mom: "I need you to run to the store and grab a few things. Here's the list."
y/n: "There are, like, 30 items on this list."
mom: "Right. Before there were 50. I trimmed it down to just a few."
y/n: "Riiight."
mom: "Here are the car keys. Go, go, go. We have one day left until the new year!"
y/n: "Okay, okay."
[Y/N opens front door]
soobin: "Oh."
y/n: "Soobin? Hey."
soobin: "Hi. I was just about to knock."
y/n: "I see that. What's up?"
soobin: "Um... well, I actually wanted to talk to you about something."
y/n: "Okay, sure."
[Y/N steps outside]
y/n: "Is everything okay?"
soobin: "Perfectly okay."
y/n: "So, what do you want to talk about?"
soobin: "As you know... um, recently a lot of things have happened."
y/n: "I know. It's been tough for you."
soobin: "Right. But I think I'm better now."
y/n: "I'm glad."
soobin: "Me too. And I just... I wanted to let you know that."
y/n: "Oh. Um, well thank you for telling me."
soobin: (deep breath) "And I also wanted to say that--"
[front door opens]
mom: "[y/n], are you... oh, hello Soobin."
soobin: "H-hi, Mrs. [y/n's last name]."
mom: "You know what, this is great timing. Are you busy at the moment? Do you think you could accompany [y/n] to the store? She's going to need to load a lot of things into the trunk."
soobin: "Yeah. No, I'm not busy at all. I'd be happy to."
mom: "Great!"
[front door shuts]
y/n: "You're really not busy?"
soobin: "It's fine, I can come."
y/n: "Okay. Cool."
soobin: "Cool."
y/n: "You were gonna say something earlier?"
soobin: "Let's run those errands first. It can wait."
