soobin: "Hey... wow. Um... wow!"
girlfriend: "Are you surprised?"
hueningkai: (whispers) "I'm surprised."
soobin: "I am! I thought you were in school, in Boston? How did you get here?"
girlfriend: "You know all those tutoring group sessions I've been doing?"
soobin: "Mhm."
girlfriend: "I've actually been tutoring someone and getting paid for it. So I saved up the money to come here and surprise you!"
hueningkai: (whispers) "I thought tutors barely get paid above minimum wage. Who is she tutoring, the Queen of England's nephew?"
y/n: (whispers) "Kai. Shush."
girlfriend: "We've been apart for too long. I couldn't wait any longer."
hueningkai: (whispers) "She sounds like a character in a Shakespearean tragedy."
y/n: (shove)
girlfriend: "So, where should I sit?"
annie: "You can sit with us!"
hueningkai: (mumbles) "Oh jesus."
girlfriend: "Oh, you must be [y/n]!"
annie: "Oh, no, no. I'm Annie."
girlfriend: "Ah. Well, it's still nice to meet you, Annie."
annie: "Wow. You are so pretty."
girlfriend: (laughs) "Thank you. I'd hope so, if I'm dating someone who looks like Soobin." (turns around) "You must be [y/n]."
y/n: "I am. It's so nice to meet you."
girlfriend: "Likewise. And you must be Kai."
hueningkai: "Hello."
soobin: (clears throat) "Well, I've gotta get going. Warm-ups."
girlfriend: "Of course!"
hueningkai: "Good luck!"
soobin: "Thanks!"
[SOOBIN leaves]
girlfriend: "You guys have a nice school!"
annie: "Thank you! I can't believe we'll be leaving it soon."
girlfriend: "Don't worry, college will be much better than high school."
annie: "True."
girlfriend: "So, how has Soobin been?"
annie: "Ask them. They hang out with him the most."
hueningkai: "He's been really good. He's really smart. Actually, he helps me a lot in AP English."
girlfriend: "Sounds just like him. He tries to play it off but he really is intelligent. How about you, [y/n]?"
y/n: "I think he's doing really well here. Definitely passing his classes and he got into varsity, so that's a plus."
girlfriend: "I know, right? I'm so glad he's excelling, considering... everything."
hueningkai: "...considering everything?"
girlfriend: "Oh, I'm sorry. I just mean... you know, all the drama."
