soobin: "What's that chomping noise?"
hueningkai: "Sorry, I'm eating a snack."
soobin: "It's one a.m."
hueningkai: "I'm a naturally hungry person."
soobin: (laughs)
hueningkai: "So, any word from the coach?"
soobin: "Actually, yeah. He emailed me and we spoke over the phone earlier. I'm on the team."
hueningkai: "REALLY?"
soobin: "Shh."
hueningkai: "Sorry. But Soobin, that's great! We should call [y/n] and do a three way phone call."
soobin: "She's probably sleeping by now."
hueningkai: "How do you know?"
soobin: "I go running late at night sometimes and her lights are usually off by ten on school nights."
hueningkai: "You pass by her window?"
soobin: "Yeah, it's on my running route."
hueningkai: "Hm. Okay."
soobin: "I feel bad, though. I think I got her in trouble today."
hueningkai: "With who, that asshole again?!"
soobin: "No, with her mom. I feel like her mom doesn't like me."
hueningkai: "But you're a likable person."
soobin: "I don't know... does her mom like you?"
hueningkai: "She's civil towards me, I guess. She's always been like that. Strict."
soobin: "I don't even know how [y/n] got to date last year if her mom is so strict."
hueningkai: "Well, that's the thing: her mom didn't know."
soobin: "Her mom didn't know?"
hueningkai: "Nope. It was a secret dating kind of situation."
soobin: "How did they even meet?"
hueningkai: "He saw her at her locker."
soobin: "He saw her at her locker? That's it?"
hueningkai: "He's a swinger, I'll give him that. When he sees what he wants, he goes for it."
soobin: "And [y/n] liked that? Someone who just went for her right away?"
hueningkai: "The thing that you have to understand about [y/n] is that we all know she can speak her mind when it's necessary. But it's hard for her to handle anything about relationships. It's so much easier to just be blunt with her. So I guess she liked that he just straight up told her he was interested in her. Plus, at the time, he was the guy that a lot of girls wanted to date."
soobin: "I just can't imagine her dating him."
hueningkai: "Well, she did. He wasn't that bad in the beginning but later on, ugh. His true colors came out and they weren't pretty. Especially after that video."
soobin: "What video?"
(long silence)
soobin: "Hello?"
hueningkai: "Um, hey I've gotta get ready for bed."
soobin: "Kai--"
hueningkai: "I'll see you at school, okay? Bye."
