CHAPTER 7

A/N: I loved writing that last chapter so many FourTris moments!

(Tris's POV)

I wake up and can't remember where I am. This isn't my room or my bed.

Wait, what?!

I sit up, ready to run, when I see Four -Tobias- laying asleep on the couch. I apparently must have stayed the night at his house. How I got on his bed I don't remember...

Oh no! Caleb will kill me if he finds out where I am!

The rain is still coming down in a steady rhythm. I sigh and lay back down. The clock reads 5:40, I usually don't get up until 7:00. I must have fallen asleep because when I look back at the clock it says 6:50.

I look around the room; I can hear water running and assume that Tobias must be taking a shower. I stand up to stretch. "Hey, Tobias, I am going to go back to my place to get ready. See you at school." I call.

"Okay, cool. Do you want a ride to school?" He answers.

"Sure, that would be nice. Meet you out front." I climb out his window and onto the tree. The rain has stopped but the ground is soaked and the trees branches are damp. When I get back into my room I look out the door and I am shocked to see that Caleb is still asleep on his bed.

I jump into the shower. My bruises are starting to fade, plus my scratches don't burn when the water touches my skin. Today so far is looking pretty good. I curl my hair and let it cascade down my shoulders in ringlets. I dress in a black tank top and put a neon green sweater on. It is my favorite because it is see-through. I slip into some dark skinny jeans and combats boots, my usual.

I grab my bag and run downstairs as fast as I can, hoping that I don't see my mother. She is passed out on the couch. I sit outside waiting for Tobias to come out. A minute later he does, wearing a black tee shirt that showed each of his muscles and dark blue jeans. "You look good." The moment he says it I blush.

"Thanks." When I hop into his Ferrari I can't help but smile.

We sit in silence all the way to school. Christina, Marlene, Will, and Uriah are by our meeting tree and I part from Tobias to go talk to them.

Marlene has a funny grin on her face. "Told you! You so like Four!" She says then Christina pipes up, "You like Four!?" Her voice is a little too loud for me.

"Shh! No...I don't!" I hiss.

Or do I?

He's handsome, sweet, nice, caring...woah, hold on. "Guys, it turns out he lives next door to me. He just offered me a ride. That's it." I did stay the night at his house, but I am not about to tell them that.

It is time for first block and we all go our separate ways.

Class goes by fast and in gym Coach K let me keep score instead of play. Tobias kept staring down Caleb through the whole class. At lunch I sat with friends and talked about our next few classes. I had Theater next and everyone else did too apparently. Today had been a good day.
