"Sanctus Noriko?"

"Yessir."

Sweat and tears ran down her forehead.

"You've been charged for the suicide of Tanaka Renko."

it wasn't supposed to end like this.

"She killed herself because of you, understand?"

Noriko just nodded.

"I'm disgusted at your behavior, Miss Sanctus."

"This is the first in thirty years I've had to done this," The principal sighed, shaking his head in disappointment. He stared at her with disgust.

She felt shame.

it was all an act.

"Sanctus Noriko, you've been expelled from Shiratorizawa Academy."

"Sir! You can't do this!" Noriko jumped from her seat, slamming her hands onto the desk.

The principal looked horrified.

Her mother placed a hand on Noriko's shoulder, muttering, 'sit down, nori.'

She sat down reluctantly.

this wasn't how it was supposed to end.

weren't the bullies supposed to get the last laugh?

Noriko held back her tears, devastated.

"I'm sorry I had to do this to you."

like hell you are.

"I understand sir, of course sir." Noriko muttered.

Her parents left the room. Noriko stood there and faced the principal.

"Can you tell the girl's volleyball team that I wish them luck?"

"Of course."

"From me, of course."

"Is that your final wish?"

"My final goodbye."

if she didn't kill herself for no reason at all.

Noriko walked out of the room, shutting the door with a slam.

She stared up, her team that she led through till now. the finals where coming up, and she was expelled.

"I'm sorry."

"You got expelled?" Rika, a middle blocker asked.

Noriko nodded.

Miwa, the libero stared at her, biting her lip in anticipation.

She turned to her best friend, her setter, "It was great spiking your serves." Noriko choked, "I, as Captain of the Shiratoizawa female Volleyball team, resign my position to pass it onto you, Hotaru."

i didn't want this to happen.

"Nori-" she breathed.

"Play good for me, okay girls?"

"Of course Nori! We won't let you down!"

i wanted to win with you guys.

"Win the finals for me okay?" Noriko smiled, hugging each girl individually. "Call me when you win."

but i just can't.

"I promise." Hotaru smiled.

"You remember everything I told you about the opposing team?"

"Yeah."

please win for me.

"I'll be watching you on TV. I'll be cheering you girls on."

Hotaru hugged her. Miwa joined. Rika joined. Eri jumped on Miwa. Chiasa wrapped her arms around Hotaru and Rika, Sakura hugged Noriko from behind, Suzumi jumped onto Sakura, Yuko wrapped her arms around Suzumi and Sakura as Aimi threw herself onto Chiasa, causing all of them to topple over.

Nori laughed at her team's antics, wiping small tears away. The girls joined in as they helped each other out.

"Sayanora girls! Play good for me! And don't let me down!" Nori smiled as she jogged to her parents who stood at the door, patiently waiting.

The miracle ace had been kicked from her pride and joy.
