Noriko and the volleyball club boys waited for their opponent outside. "Can't we go inside? It's so hot out." Noriko complained.

"Maybe you shouldn't have worn a jacket then, Noriko." Kenma commented.

"You're wearing one too," Nori pointed out.

"Just get used to it."

"You're not helping."

"I know."

Noriko groaned, standing impatiently between Kenma and Kuroo. A small bus parked into the school. "Is that them?" Yamamoto asked.

"Probably," Yaku replied. Finally, Noriko thought. She let out an exasperated sigh, throwing her head back.

"Finally." She said.

"Come on, let's go greet them." Kuroo said, patting Noriko's back. She stared at the Karasuno boys. Most of them were average height. She eyed the tall blond one, nudging Kuroo.

"He's probably a middle blocker too." She whispered.

"Who's on their team again?"

"Kageyama Tobio from Kitagawa Daiichi and Nishinoya Yuu from Chidoriyama if I recall."

"What about that small one?"

"I have no idea."

"He's a middle blocker." Kenma stated.

"HUH?" Noriko shouted, "he's a WHAT?"

"Stop talking so loud," Kuroo whispered.

"Shut up, Rooster Head."

Kuroo and the captain from Karasuno exchanged words.

"They have a pretty manager!!" Yamamoto sobbed.

"Hand those buns over, Yamamoto." Noriko grinned.

"Aa! Kenma!" The pint-sized middle blocker said.

"You know him?" Noriko asked him, leaning over.

"We met when I got lost."

"Right. Because you weren't paying attention."

"Be quiet Noriko."

"I'm Hinata Shoyo."

"Sanctus Noriko." She smiled at the pint-sized middle blocker. "You're...a middle blocker, I heard that right, right?"

"Yeah, despite my size."

So he's self-aware. Why is he a middle blocker with his height?

"Well, I'll see you on the court hopefully Hinata."

"I'm a starting player. You'll see me."

"You're what?"

"Noriko, come on, we have to get ready." Kuroo said from the door.

"Coming!" She called, running off.

"What was that about?" Kuroo asked.

"He's a starting player."

"With his size?" Kuroo raised a brow.

"I heard about the match with Kitagawa Daiichi and Yukigaoka." Noriko said, "I went and watched them between one of my matches I think."

"You think?"

"I remember...ohmygosh."
