The sun was somehow warmer through the window as the weather grew chillier in November.

Roman was wrapped under his thick bedsheets as it slowly rose. Virgil was unknowingly staring at him from the windowsill. He was like a cat in the way that he perched himself as he sat. He kept looking back and forth from the battle of the moon and sun to a boy who he believed was a second sun to him sometimes.

Roman was fairly chaotic and flamboyant, seeing him asleep shown him in a new light to Virgil. He sat and noticed how his hair fell perfectly in front of his eyes, but not enough for him to look like Virgil did, even though they looked fairly similar to begin with. Many third and fourth years mistook Virgil for Remus from time to time, and Roman would always correct them without missing a beat in passerby conversation. His eyes flickered from time to time, but it never faltered Princey's slumber. He was snuggled up against the sheets, so vulnerable, so warm.

Virgil fought the internal urge to slide in beside him and feel some of the warmth for himself. He wished to let himself melt into Roman's heart, and to let Roman's heart bleed into his own. His subconscious needs were barely applicable as Virgil only just gained trust. Running too fast was nor a vice or a virtue, but Virgil's mind had always made such a thing into one or the other through overthought or reason.

The clock struck seven o'clock as the sun started to hang higher in the sky. Virgil silently stood up from his perch and went over to his wardrobe, and got dressed without anyone else looking. As he started to tire his shoes, Lin started to rise from underneath his covers.

"Hey Virge," He whispered. Virgil perked up with a hum, and gave him a nod.

"Morning Lin," He said, finishing off his shoes. He rose off the ground and walked over to the bathroom. With the click of the door shutting, Roman's eyes fluttered open.

Roman groaned, annoyed with the world.

"Morning Roman," Lin said, buttoning up his shirt. Roman looked at the bed to his right, noticing that it was made perfectly. He furrowed his brow.

"Where is he?" Roman asked.

"Relax, he's brushing his teeth." Lin said. Roman felt a wave of relief come over him. Virgil walked out of the bathroom as Roman climbed out of bed.

"Hey there, Princey," He said. Roman rolled his eyes.

"Morning deathwish," Roman said. Virgil raised an eyebrow to him as he grabbed his bag.

"You listened to it?" He asked. Roman shook his head.

"No, I just wanted to speak on your level for once. It felt confusing." Roman said. Virgil chuckled.

"Oh please, leave the edginess to me." Virgil teased. Roman smiled as he finished making his bed. He then turned to his wardrobe and ripped off his shirt. Virgil gulped and let out a shake breath.

He walked over to Roman, who turned around with a confused and intrigued complexion.

"Yes?" He asked in whisper.

"Can I eat with you today?" Virgil asked anxiously. Roman chuckled.

"Yes, go grab my seat and the one next to it and sit in the middle." He said. Virgil looked p and down awkwardly, nodding glitteringly as he left the dorm. Lin looked at Roman with wide eyes.

"What?" Roman asked quietly from across the room. Lin threw his robe over his outfit.

"Did you not feel - Never mind." He said.
