Transfiguration between Logan and Patton was a satisfactory fulfillment of time they had together. Patton always made the best jokes between them, and Logan would figure out to decipher humor. It was a very fascinating dynamic, one that Roman and Virgil ignored, questioning if they were dating yet, if at all. Patton and Logan were the bridge between Roman and Virgil and Deceit and Remus, who sometimes spit on Logan for talking about muggle sciences and comparing it to their equivalents in the wizarding world. They were a bridge between narratives, even if their own was writing itself in the midst of others'.
"Are you sure they aren't together yet?" Patton whispered. Logan shrugged.
"If not, something has definitely been told between them both." He replied.
Virgil sat stiff in his seat, sitting in the most odd formation towards his coleauge. Roman folded his hands and sat facing forward, tense.
"What's wrong?" Virgil whispered.
"Nothing, is he staring at me?" Roman asked. Virgil sighed and looked to a smirking Remus, who was looking dreamily into Deceit's brown eye.
"No, but Logan and Patton are." Virgil whispered. Roman sighed.
"They can, I give permission." Roman said. Virgil raised his eyebrows in confusion.
"You can't just give permission to everyone in your presence, that's just selective and mean." Virgil said. Roman rolled his eyes.
"Whatever Brad Pitiful," He joked. Virgil rolled his eyes as Patton and Logan observed on silently.
"Definitely, something happened," Patton said. "They have to be way too scared to let Remus know that they're together."
"If so, and we are the only ones allowed to stare, why aren't they doing anything?" Logan asked. Patton shrugged.
"Maybe they're scared of someone else looking on." Patton said.
"Maybe, or what if they just aren't and there is just a lot of tension?" Logan asked.
"That could be it, I can sounds pretty sensual Logan." Patton said, nudging him with his arm. Logan sighed and shook his head, scrunching his glabella with his hand.
"I'm going to need you to leave." Logan said.
"What? Scared of the sexual tendons, Log?" He asked with a giggling laugh. Logan put his arms on the desk and buried his face within them, groaning dramatically. The teacher stood in front of the room, smirking.
"Class, lighten up on this dark morning! Let's get ready!" The professor said.
-
"You okay, Log?" Patton asked.
They were the only two in the library on that late day. The sun had sunk into the ground hours beforehand, and it was raining the entire day. Logan looked out of their shared window seat at the dark sky around them. No stars were to be found, it was too cloudy. He hummed and let his eyes linger on the low sky for a moment before adverting his attention to Patton.
"Oh? Yes, I am perfectly fine, Pat." Logan said. Patton raised an eyebrow as if he were serious.
"I don't think you are, Log." Patton said. Logan sighed.
"Remember what you said? About talking about our feelings and a-asking for help?" Logan asked. Patton tried to hide his grin.
"Yes, I do," He said eagerly. " Do you want to talk with me, Log?"
"I-If you don't mind, I'd like to try it out." Logan said. Patton smiled and dumped his books and stationary into his bag neatly and quickly. He then leaned his elbows on his knees as he sat criss-cross-apple-sauce on the bench, and rested his head on his hands.
