"Patton? Logan?"
Roman walked into their usual reading place in the library that next morning. He was in his quidditch uniform, broom in hand, ready to run to the pitch. Logan and Patton sat with their house scarves on, starting their Potions report.
"Roman?" They asked simultaneously. They looked at one another with raised eyebrows and back at their friend.
"Aren't you supposed to be at the game?" Patton asked.
"I have a few minutes to spare before I have to head out." He said. Logan raised an eyebrow.
"A few minutes to run across the castle?" He asked. Roman rolled his eyes.
"I can fly, you know." He said sassily. Logan sighed with annoyance as he fixed his glasses, returning to his measure book that was the size of a pizza box.
"What is it? "Patton asked. Roman's expression turned into a smile.
"Guess who's moving into my dorm?" He asked. :ogan perked up again to look at Patton, and then Roman.
"The transfer students fluxed into your dorms situation as well?" He asked. Roman nodded with a smile.
"Yes, but a transfer student isn't moving into my dorm. Guess who it is?" He asked. Logan fixed his glasses again/
"How on Earth are we supposed to decide between about two-hundred fifty students, most of which we don't know-" "Virgil?" Patton cut in. Logan furrowed his brow in frustration. Roman beamed.
"How did you know?" He asked. Patton shrugged.
"You wouldn't be this excited if it were your bother or Deceit." He said.
"You called?"
Logan, Patton, and Roman turned to see the snake-like student. He smirked with his arms crossed against the books.
"Why are you here?" Roman asked.
"Why are you? Your brother left me an hour ago to go to field." He said with a snarky tone.
"He's a kiss-up to the captain, that's why." Roman said. Deceit rolled his eyes.
"Is he really?" He asked wit ha raised eyebrow. Roman looked at him nervously, and then back to Logan and Patton. Deceit laughed to himself and walked away, leaving Roman standing scared to a full bookcase. Logan looked worryingly to Patton, who shrugged.
"Roman?" Patton asked. Roman perked up and turned around with his golden smile.
"Is it Virgil?" Patton asked. Roman smiled and nodded.
"Yes, he's going to move in while we're playing." Logan raised an eyebrow.
"But Patton and I don't play quidditch. "He said. Roman faulted his smile for a quick second and checked his imaginary watch. He looked up with urgency.
"I have to go, the game is going to start soon" He said. Logan looked worryingly to Patton, who sighed with a smile.
"Good luck, we'll be there sooN!" He said. Roman saluted them as he ran out of the library, mounted his broom, and flew to the quidditch pitch.
"What did he mean by 'we'?" Logan asked. Patton gave him a sympathetic smile.
"As much as he hates his brother, he can never be detached from him." Patton said. Logan rolled his eyes.
"That Deceit, Roman and Remus are always kissing up to his tricks." He snarled. Patton held out a hand on the table face down.
"Calm down Logan, he doesn't know any better." He said. Logan closed his book forcibly.
