Chapter 25- In Which They Lived Happily Ever After

Pan woke up with a small groan. She felt as if she had just rode something that spun her around fifty times. She opened an eye carefully and gave it a few minutes for the room to stop moving and focus.

"Panny?" Chi-Chi called as she came into her eyesight.

"Mama?" Pan whispered.

"Oh Panny, you're back!" Chi-Chi cried as she grabbed her hand and held it tightly. "You're finally back!"

"Back?" Pan raised a brow. "You mean I'm back in the right time?"

"Yeah," Gohan came into her vision now. "Hey, Pan-Chan."

"Hey, Han," her lips twitched.

Pan let out a small sigh and closed her eyes. She was back in her time, and everything was as it should be. Though she couldn't help but feel a little sad at the thought that she didn't get to tell Kiba goodbye... Even though she knew she would eventually be seeing him again. She furrowed her brows as she tried to remember what happened before she jumped. She was in a hospital...

"What?!" Pan's eyes shot open and she glanced around as her heart raced. "Why am I in the hospital?!" She cried as she glanced around.

"Panny, when you appeared, you were unconscious and wouldn't wake up," Chi-Chi explained. "We were all worried, especially Trunks even though he was injured."

Pan felt as if someone had knocked all the air out of her stomach. Trunks! She had been at the hospital when she jumped because of Trunks! He had been hurt! Clumsily she slipped out of the bed she had been on.

"Where is Trunks now?" She asked.

"He's somewhere in the ER as well," Gohan explained. "Bulma made him get his cut looked at though he didn't want to leave you."

"I have to find him," Pan said with wide eyes.

"Panny, he should be okay," Chi-Chi said softly. "He'll probably need a few stitches but it wasn't anything bad. He was just a minor car wreck before you two jumped."

"A car wreck?!" Pan nearly cried. Is that what happened? She felt as if her heart could jump out of her chest. She had to see Trunks with her own eyes, only then would she be okay!

Pan rushed out of the room she was in and up to the nurses station. Her eyes scanned the whiteboard with a list of patient names, hoping and praying she would find Trunks' name up there somewhere.

"Will you stop hovering!" Huffed a familiar voice.

Pan turned around quickly to see Trunks and Bulma walking her way. He was okay! Other than the bandage on his left cheek.

"You have an inch long cut on your face, I can be a little worried!" Bulma huffed.

"And it's a cut that is now sealed up with stitches and will turn into a scar. I'll be scar buddies with Yamcha," he teased. "I have to find Panny, she should be-"

Trunks saw her and she blinked back her tears. She had been so worried that something awful had happened to him.

"Panny..." he walked over to her and gave her a small smile. "I worried you, didn't I? I'm sorry... But now we know how I got my scar, right? Good thing it didn't mess with my good looks, huh?" He teased.

Pan let out a teary laugh and nodded. "Yeah... You're still very handsome," she told him softly as she reached up and gently touched his cheek above the bandage. "I was so worried..."
