The Void: Frozen Threat

---ONE's P.O.V----

"Maverick you awake?" I whisper into the darkness but no reply comes back and I sigh wanting to know if he is alright but they had shut of the lights meaning the whole room was pitch black and anything could be happening around me.

As soon as i'm about to sleep the lights turn on and i'm greeted with a familiar figure walking through the door. The man who had beat us up came through but this time he  was dragging a sack carrying what looked like it could be another person. The man takes the bag off the object and as I had said it was a person...but it wasn't just any person it was Jax.

"One!?" He looks at me with worried eyes and I nod telling him i'm fine and then he looks at Maverick and back at me and I shake my head which tells him Maverick might not last much longer.

"What did you do to him!" Jax throws himself at the man but with no use because the man punches him square in the jaw with brass knuckles sending him to the ground quicker than he had got up.

The man pulls out his club and starts beating Jax and I try not to watch as Jax crys out in pain as the man hits harder and harder until he eventually walks out of the room leaving the lights on.

"Is everyone else here to?" I look at Jax and he looks at me with pain and worry in his eyes.

"Beta and Mark are here and so is Ryker and his group" He sighs putting his head on his arms.

"Wait Ryker is here and his group!?" I gasp surprised that they had survived this long after they left us.

"Yeah there pretty shaken though....they said they were already captured and taken here before...they said we wouldn't make it through this place because they will kill us" As he finishes I look at the ground silently sobbing letting all my emotions out at once knowing that we would probably be killed sooner rather than later.

----Beta's P.O.V----

"Let go of me you bastards!" I struggle against two people who both wear gas masks.

"Don't struggle or we will put you there next" one of them looks at me and points to what looks to be an execution pole in the center of the room.

I look at the pole more closely since my vision is starting to get used to the bright lights on the ceiling. The one pole is empty while the other two hold two people both of them looking very familar.

"Ryker! Dawn!" I look at the people I had only met yesterday and I start to cry because I knew what was happening...we had done these same things to bandits when we took them as prisoners...but this time my own people would be executed for no reason.

I watch as a man walks up to them with a cold stare on his face and nothing else not even the least bit of sympathy for them.

"Beta look away....it has been an honor to meet you" Ryker smiles slightly and Dawn starts to cry next to him.

The man raises the pistol and he points it at Dawn first and Ryker looks at him with a glare.

"Shoot me first not her....I was the one who killed your men when we escaped not her!" He pleads with the man but it doesn't work. The man looks at Ryker and pulls the trigger sending Dawn forward with an awkward jerk which ends in her hitting the ground and not moving.

"You bitch!" Ryker jumps up and swings but the man shoots hitting Ryker in the side which sends him to the ground.

"Beta...help me...." He crawls towards me as he coughs up blood and the light fades from his eyes slowly. Just as I think it can't get worse the man shoots him again but this time in his head sending blood splatters which covers me.

"Take her to the cell with the other person we caught" The man looks at the guards and they nod and they grab me by the hair dragging me away.

----Alex's P.O.V----

"Luna can you check on Rainy while I watch outside for any danger?" I yell into the house as I stand outside.

"Yeah I guess" She walks upstairs to where Rainy is and disappears out of sight.

"Why the hell does it have to be freezing at this time of day..." I rub my hands together trying to get warm again as I watch the streets for trouble.

"Alex!" Luna bursts out of the door looking rather alarmed.

"What!?" I look at her hoping it's not what I think it is.

"The baby is coming" Luna looks scared and I nod not knowing what we could do.

"We can do this it's only a baby..." I pace back and fourth in the hallway outside of Rainy's room where Luna is helping her.

"Alex I need you in here!" Luna yells out and I go in hoping we deliver the baby without issues.

----ONE's P.O.V----

"One wake up!" Jax yells and I look up seeing his worried face and I notice what is wrong right away.

Maverick isn't breathing at all his chest stopped rising and falling and I knew it wouldn't be long before he would wake up as an infected and rip us both to shreds.

"Is there anything we can kill him with?" Jax looks at me and I shake my head knowing that anything sharp or even remotely dangerous wouldn't be in a cell with prisoners.

"Well we have to think of something quick because were running out of time!" Jax starts to panic and I look around for anything but the only thing that I could possibly think of was my weapons which were taken from me the moment we had been captured.

My eyes widen as I remember something Alex had gave me and I laugh a little as I reach down to my shoe and pull back the sole to reveal a small wood carved heart which had a sharpened end to it perfect for a situation like this.

I was lucky I found it because our time was up because Maverick started to twitch and then his eyes opened showing that he had in fact turned because they were glossy and had a slight red to them.

Hell was about to ensure.
