The Void: Frozen Threat

Buried Alive

----Beta's P.O.V----

"Sabrina...." I start ripping away at the debris that covers her, I had a painful headache and my ears were still ringing and as I look around all I saw was the flames and smoke of the burning building and the area around us was decimated with large holes where the bombs had landed.

I keep digging but to no avail since it was to heavy and my hands were cracked and bleeding. I look around and at first there is no movement till I see two people digging away at the rubble to the left of me. I leave Sabrina for a moment and head towards the digging people, hoping I could get help for Sabrina.

"Beta!" one of them turns looking at me in surprise which turns to horror as the woman looks me up and down.

"Sabrina...is trapped" I point towards the small pile of debris.

The woman nods before whispering to the man who is still digging through the debris before she heads off towards Sabrina. I watch her for a second before stumbling towards the direction Finn and Jax had been when the whole place exploded hoping I could find them. As I near the place they had been I feel a hand wrap around my foot and I look down seeing a large pile of debris and a bunch of bloody hands reaching out at me.

"Shit...that will be a nightmare" I slowly back away knowing those hands belonged to the dead who had turned into infected. I stumble for a little longer before coming across a body on the ground and I draw my knife ready to stab it. I get closer till I roll it over and see who it is and when I do my heart drops a bit feeling that sense of betrayal as I look down at Jax. I watch as his eyes slowly open and he looks at me with pain filled eyes.

"Beta...I'm s-sorry"  Blood drips from his mouth and I notice that he is holding his stomach which I then move his and seeing a fresh stab wound.

"Who did this?" Before he could respond his eyes go wide and I turn around just in time to see Finn holding a piece of concrete, I lunge at him but he swings the piece of concrete smashing it against the side of my head making me topple to the ground in pain as my head starts to bleed a little.

"To think...all this fighting over what...a disagreement and a war that is taking place in a world where almost everyone is dead...pathetic!" Finn kicks my making me groan in agony.

"You will not kill him...that was what I wanted!" He kicks me again this time in the side of the knee.

"Now you will have to die to!" He lifts up the piece of concrete but before he can bring it down a knife gets planted in his neck making him fall over.

"Beta!" Luna walks up to me and I grab her hand standing up in pain trying not to pass out.

"Thank you..." I nod before going over and picking up the concrete and finishing of Finn for good.

"What are we doing with him?" Lucifer, who must have been with Luna points at Jax and Luna gasps pointing her gun at him.

"Put your gun away...he is no threat" I walk over and help him up slinging his arm over my shoulder.

"What are you doing?" Luna looks at me with shock.

"Keeping him alive" I raise my gun and shoot Lucifer in the foot making him fall over in pain and Luna raises her gun at me for a second before going over to tend to Lucifer.

As I walk away Luna shouts at me in anger and sadness and I know how betrayed she must feel but Jax doesn't deserve the punishment he would have got.

"Traitor!" Luna screams at me as I round the corner and go off into he woods hoping no one will follow.

----2 hours later, Sabrina's P.O.V----

"Are you sure your alright?" Rainy looks at me and I nod knowing she is still upset with my choices I had made which had costed people there lives and had changed the whole situation we now had.

"You called for us?" Alex and One walk into the tent that we were using for a temporary meeting room since we were outside the compound that the battle had just happened at.

"Luna didn't come with you and where is Adonikah?" Rainy looked at them and they both sighed.

"Luna is with Lucifer and helping the others treat the wounded....Adonikah is helping with the debris clearing and cleaning up the bodies" Alex says with a stern voice trying to sound serious.

"Well I called you all here because we now have a new situation...finding Beta and Jax" Rainy looks at us all with serious eyes.

"So what if we find them?" Alex looked confused for a second.

"Treat them as threats and deal with them" Rainy looks at Alex and for a second all three of us look at each other in shock.

"But...Beta is a friend" One looked at Rainy.

"Not anymore"

----One week later, Beta's P.O.V----

"Why did you save me?" Jax looks at me with confusion as we sit in a abandoned house.

"I didn't want them to just kill you...I still believe your in there" I notice how silent he goes and the way he nods.

"I can't be trusted you know this...and now you are probably wanted to" Jax looks worried.

"Don't worry about me" I shake my head and take a drink off water.

"Look...why have you started to trust me all of a sudden?" He looks at me with confusion 

"I just think you have been treated unfairly and I think you deserve a fair trial" I yawn feeling tired and the faint headache from the concrete hitting my head is still there.

"Trial?, like a court of some sort?" I nod slowly closing my eyes.

"Although I know Rainy won't do it so we might as well be alive till they find us" I sigh hearing nothing but silence from him as I fall asleep slowly.

"Thanks" I then heard him moving and soon I knew he was asleep.

"You're welcome" I whisper to myself knowing he won't hear me.

A war had just ended but a new one was already here, but who would win?
