"Jax catch!" I throw him the wooden heart and he catches it not even taking a second to look at what it is before he shoots forward striking Maverick over and over until he is covered in his blood and the walls are dripping red.

"Is he dead?" Even though I ask I know the answer just from the way his body was laying on the ground and how much blood there was.

"Yeah...the bastard also bit me" Jax turns his head a bit only showing one eye and it reflects nothing but frustration and saddness.

"Well you can't turn right?" I look at him knowing he has been bit before and any normal person would be long dead but for some reason he never turned so I was confident he would pull through.

"Only time can tell" He sits back down and tosses the heart back to me.

"Thanks..." I clean the blood off by wiping it on the floor which doesn't get it all but most of it anyway.

"Hopefully the others are alright" Jax looks at the door and I notice just how much he has changed since we met.

----Alex P.O.V----

"Luna wake up" I shake her a bit and she looks at me with question and I put my finger to my mouth warning her to be quiet.

"What is it?" She looks tired and I feel bad knowing I had fell asleep into the night while she stayed up helping Rainy with the baby.

"We have Infected outside....alot of them" I didn't tell her how many but this was no normal horde, there had to be at least fifty of them.

"I'll get Rainy up and we will meet at the car" Luna walks over to Rainy while I hurry down the stairs putting all the important things in bags.

I quickly hurry over to the door as Rainy and Luna hurry down the steps and start grabbing things with whatever hands they have free.

"Go to sleep little one" Rainy carries the baby in a make shift baby carrier which she made from blankets and thread which she attached to her shirt.

"Both of you follow me if any get close make a run for the car" I lead the way and once we step one foot out of the house the horde shifts coming straight at us.

"Run!!" I shout and they take off while I start bashing there skulls in with a metal baseball bat.

Soon there surrounding me so I sprint hitting them as I run towards the car not even stopping as the groans get louder sounding as if there in my ear. I swing at another infected this one wearing a gas mask and all black attire.

Just as the bat is about to connect the infected ducks and that's when I realize this wasn't at all an infected. It was a person pretending to be one and then before I could react a fell an instant pain and I look seeing a blade through my gut.

I stumble falling forward as blood runs down my chin from my mouth. I look up seeing the car and Rainy and Luna screaming for me to get up. I smile a bit as I see a bright light then nothing at all just darkness and the sound of approaching infected ready to gnaw on my injured body.

----Beta's P.O.V----

I curl up in a ball not wanting to be seen from whatever kind of monsters have captured us. I start to think about my family and how they might be dead or alive. I hope they were dead so they didn't have to go through all the troubles of surviving in this world. One day I was just an apprentice at a newspaper company and now...now i'm the leader of a group of people who are all scattered and are most likely all dead because I couldn't lead them correctly. Alpha probably would hate me even more seeing me caged like an animal and he would see the terrible job I have done as a leader. He should have given the job to Gamma not me...even Alex would have been a better pick than me seeming everyone liked him more anyways. Now it will be my fault our whole group dies because of the stupid choices I made. We should have just found the others instead of driving farther away. I look up for a few seconds and I see someone watching me.

"What do you want!" I yell at the man who is watching me with interest through his gas mask which has a giant tear down the middle showing his one eye.

"Nothing I just like to watch the new subjects" He sounds weird for some reason as if he were fighting back other words. That's when I noticed what he was holding....a tiny band for someone's wrist.

"What is that?" I stand up looking at him with suspicion.

"It is a shock band....If you want to leave your cell and walk around freely you must wear one of these that way you can't escape without being electrocuted to death" He sounds so calm but the way his face looks under his mask scares me.

I take a long moment to think before holding out me wrist for the band.

"So I can walk around now?" He nods and I pass him quickly heading to find everybody else.

----One's P.O.V----

I wake up hearing the door being knocked on so I walk over looking out seeing Beta standing there. My eyes widen and I go over and wake up Jax pointing to the door.

"How are you guys holding up?" She looks worried and I can't blame her because were the one's trapped not her.

"We are fine....well Maverick is dead" I say sadly looking at the body laying in the corner.

"Yeah....Ryker and Dawn have been executed" She looks away and Jax looks up with anger in his eyes and then it changes to sadness before he runs at a wall hitting it over and over again.

Suddenly a noise from down the hall draws Beta's attention and she gasps almost falling over.

"It's Alex!" She looks at me and we look back at her with worry.

They didn't just capture us, they captured all of us.
