A Doctors Heart.

Chapter Twenty-One.

*Time skip*

"I'm so nervous babe." Kookie fretted to Tae'

It was the morning of his graduation from his residency and he was extremely sweaty. Kookie was at present fighting with a difficult item of clothing that wasn't cooperating.

Tae walked over to him and turned him to face him, he didn't speak he simply stroked his face and tenderly kissed his lips. Jungkook melted into the kiss and wrapped his arms around Tae's waist pulling him into his own body. Knowing what the outcome of this action was, Tae regrettably pulled away from him earning a sulk from Kookie.

"Not now babe, let's get your graduation over first...then we can...celebrate properly." Tae said grinning seductively. Jungkook groaned, his excitement already prominent.

"You're such a tease." He adjusted his trousers accordingly.

"But you love it." Tae said grinning, he fixed Kookies tie and after one last kiss, left him to see to Taechi.

Kookie watched him leave the room and smiled to himself...he considered himself very lucky, he had the man he loved in his life, they had a beautiful little girl, and he was now a fully-fledged doctor.

He looked at himself in the long mirror, the black suit and tie suited him, he smiled, remembering the idea he had a few nights ago, he would talk to Tae' about it when he could.

He had the idea while having a conversation with Taechi, now he couldn't get it out of his mind, it almost overwhelmed him. Tae' had been round at Jin and Namjoons feeding their puppy while they were on honeymoon. It was just the two of them and Taechi had turned to him very seriously.

"Papa?" Taechi asked. Jungkook was alarmed momentarily, she looked very serious.

"Yes sweetie?"

"When am I going to get a baby brother or sister?"

Jungkook had almost choked on the coffee he was drinking.

"Excuse me?"

"All my friends have baby brothers or sisters, I feel left out." She said dropping her head looking sad."

Jungkook lifted her chin with his finger, she stared into his eyes.

"Is it really that important to you?" Taechi nodded.

"I see."

"I want a sister more than a brother, I can be her mummy."

This hit Jungkook's heart hard, he had always felt sad that Taechi didn't really have a mother figure around her anymore, apart from China's mother, she had no one.

He made up his mind there and then to talk to Tae about it when he could figure out what to say to him.

"Would you really like that?" He smiled at her, Taechi nodded a bright smile on her face. "Let me talk to pappy about it then."

Taechi climbed off the sofa and jumped up and down.

"I'M GOING TO BE A SISTER..." She almost screamed, disturbing the neighbours.

Jungkook placed his finger to her lips.

"Shhhhh, let it be our secret until I've talked to pappy...ok?"

"Ok papa, I love you."

She threw herself around his neck then bounded out of the room excitedly. He watched her go and smiled, she really was like her pappy, full of energy.

His head was full of things they could try, and as his small family headed to the graduation ceremony he had a good argument ready for when he spoke to Tae' about it.
