Chapter Forty-Four.

"Now, as promised here is the interview everyone's been waiting for, with us in the studio is Mr Kim Taehyung and Mr Kim Jungkook formerly of the K-Pop group BTS. Welcome gentlemen." The news reader introduced them.

"Thank you." Tae' and Jungkook answered together.

"Now let us start by asking you what prompted you to call our station for this interview...as everyone is aware pictures have surfaced containing the two of you in an intimate position while you were on tour two months ago, is this in relation to those pictures?"

Tae' was the first to speak.

"They are part of the reason yes, but I want to start with the most recent image that was broadcast..."

"The young girl leaving the hospital with you two?" The news reader guessed. Tae' nodded.

"I have read very upsetting comments about this picture...Comments saying she was my girlfriend, and such...The first thing I want to tell you is that that young lady is NOT my girlfriend, she is our daughter." Tae' looked at Jungkook, his eyes stared back at him, and he smiled reassuringly.

"When you say 'our' daughter, you are referring to yourselves as her parents?" Tae' turned to face him again, he nodded.

"That is right, Jungkook and I have been together for nine years, married for eight, and we have a family who we are proud of."

"I see, is the young lady your only child?"

"No she is not, we have three other children."

"You have four children, is that right?"

"Yes it is, and the reason we decided to do this was for them. A week ago I was chased by some people while I was enjoying some personal time with one of my children, as you know, I was shot recently, and as a result of this incident with my child my wound opened and had to be re closed, my daughter had travelled on her own to see me, worried for me, and then had her photo taken as we left the hospital...our whole existence is being threatened by people who can't leave us alone, and now our daughter has been put in danger, It is not acceptable." Tae' was getting upset, so Jungkook, touched his hand in support and carried on.

"We wanted to do this interview to let people know what was happening with us. We have a photographer stalking us, so we feel restricted wherever we go...I ask you, is this really fair? Is it not bad enough that we were photographed in the hotel, then Taehyung was shot, why are the public so interested in our lives?"

The news broadcaster nodded and turned to the camera.

"We as a nation need to learn something from these gentleman's story..." He turned to the couple. "I can make you this promise, we as a station will no longer broadcast anything that arrives regarding you two, and it will be given to the police, along with all the other information we have received.

I must thank you for being here for this interview, and being very open and honest and please rest assured that any further information will be treated with integrity and respect, do you intend to go to the police with this?"

The boys knew what he was really asking, where they going to sue them for showing the footage? But they never intended to do so, they just wanted to forget everything and get on with their lives as they had done before.
