Chapter Thirty-Two

Two weeks had passed, Tae' was getting stronger by the week and soon it came to him getting up and about, Yoongi had been assisting him with exercises he could do while laying down, but Tae' had been struggling with pain while practising them, his leg wouldn't move how he wanted it too.

This morning Tae' was preparing himself for the first standing exercise, he was concerned, he didn't want Jungkook seeing him struggle, but he knew he would do. Jungkook was due to arrive soon and Tae' was actually getting nervous.

There came a knock on the door and Tae' called 'come in'. Yoongi opened the door and smiled at Tae'. He was carrying a small bag.

Tae was sat up in his bed, It had only been a few days that he had been able to do so without struggling to breathe.

"Morning Tae', did you sleep well?"

"I did thank you, are we starting now?

"That's up to you...is Jungkook visiting?"

"Yeah, he should be here soon, can we wait?"

"Of course...um Tae'?"

Tae' looked at Yoongi, he looked like he had something important to say.

"What's up Yoongi?"

"Can I tell you something?"

"Yeah...go on?"

"Um...I'm thinking of asking Rose to marry me..."

Tae' was taken aback, he hadn't expected that confession, but he was happy for them.

"Oh wow, it's gotten serious between you two hasn't it?"

"I love her, I can't explain it, but she's very important to me."

"I understand, I really do, I felt the same with Kookie. When are you thinking of popping the question?"

"As soon as possible, I can't stand to be apart from her, she makes me feel special."

The door opened and Jungkook walked in, he went over to Tae' and kissed him tenderly then looked at Yoongi.

"How are you Yoongi?"

"He's thinking of popping the question." Tae replied for Yoongi, smiling at their friend. Jungkook grinned at Yoongi.

"Oh wow, congratulations in advance, I'm sure she'll accept."

"I hope so, anyway shall we start now your husband is here." Yoongi suggested turning to Tae', who immediately got nervous.

"I'd like you to wear this for our sessions." Yoongi said pulling a back brace out from the bag he had arrived with.

After asking him to sit forward carefully and fitting it to Tae's lower body and making sure Tae' was comfortable Yoongi helped him move his legs over the bed. He motioned for Jungkook to assist on his other side and Yoongi asked Tae' to place his arms around both their shoulders. Before Tae' stood Yoongi looked at him.

"Now we will go at your own pace, any pain let me know....Ok?"

"Ok." Tae' nodded, biting his lip. Jungkook stroked his chest, Tae' looked at him.

"You got this babe, believe in yourself." Tae' smiled at him. Yoongi spoke up.

"Ok Tae' we are going to start with standing up first, I want you to put your weight onto your injured leg first then lift your good leg if you can." Tae' nodded.
