Chapter Thirty-Seven

Three months had passed and Tae's leg had slowly gotten back to normal. The bruising was gone, the scarring was still prominent but Tae' had resigned himself to the fact he would have it for life. He also counted himself lucky that he had a life still.

He was walking without the aid of a stick now, but got tired easy, Jungkook was especially proud of him, despite his limp, no one would know that a few short months before he was stuck in a wheelchair.

He had kept up with his physiotherapy and impressed Yoongi with his determination.

Speaking of Yoongi, he and Rose were happier now, the boys had spoken to him, and he had admitted that he found it hard to be with her sometimes, when people started asking about her pregnancy.

The boys had made him see, that it would all be over soon, and he should actually sit down with Rose and tell her his feelings...It had gone so well that they were now engaged and they couldn't be happier.

Namjoon and Jin had found a surrogate and had recently announced that she had become pregnant with Namjoons baby.

The couple had introduced her to their family and friends and they had hit it off immediately, especially her and Rose, being in a similar situation.

The woman's name was Lisa and she was a scientist, the boys had loved her immediately.

Rose was close to term, she spent most of her time in her bed, the babies taking all her energy, Yoongi had been worried about it at first, but she had assured him it was all part of the package...They were still to make love, Yoongi having promised Rose he would wait until she was ready.

On the first of September the boys were preparing a family barbecue, for Jungkook's birthday, they had invited everyone and Rose had promised she would be there, but that she would probably be too exhausted to do anything, they were fine with that, promising her the use of their guest bedroom if she got too tired.

She arrived shortly before noon with Yoongi, and Tae' and Jungkook took in her tired face that screwed up in discomfort every now and then. Tae' hobbled over to her and pulled her into a side hug, not being able to front hug her anymore due to her huge bump. He looked into her face, his heart hurting, she looked so tired.

"You ok? Rose"

"I'm fine, just feel like a whale ya' know"

She grinned and screwed her face up, Tae' saw this he was concerned.

"What was that, are you in pain?"

"No just twinges, I've had them all morning, they feel like they are getting bigger though."

Tae' gently helped her down onto the sofa and hobbled away to get her a drink.

Yoongi looked at her concerned, she was sweaty, and looked in too much pain just to be having twinges.

Jungkook walked into the room, no doubt Tae' had told him his concerns for her, He bent down in front of her, and took her hand, momentarily shocked at how clammy and sweaty it was. He looked into her eyes, saw for himself how pained she looked. Tae' stood at the door watching them.

"Happy birthday Kookie." She said smiling.

Jungkook smiled at her then rubbed her hand with his thumb.

"How are you feeling?"

Rose sighed and half –smiled.

"I'm fine, just exhausted."
